Small general improvements

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

One area that SFGAm is in need of desperate help is the parking lot. There is cracks and pot holes every where. They should repave the whole lot.

I agree, however, would you rather have better things inside the park where you spend all day, or have the parking lot repaved where you only spend 10 minutes or so?

The only problem I have with the lots is how dirty they are, but what do you want them to do about that besides clean it once in awhile?

Papas, The lots are cleaned nightly. They get dirty because people throw their trash on the floor like it is a landfill.

Yeah I know that, why do you think the east area of the lot and admissions is so sparkly clean in the morning :).

I think that the lot is not a big problem. When most people go to the park they only go once or twice a year. And i think that the parking lot is the least of there worries. It's the park infront of them.

I think that there are a lot of improvements that need to be made. The first being Yukon Territory. They've basically killed this area. It needs to expand a lot! There's nothing to do here. When i went through necropolis during fright fest. I didn't even notice, until i was writting my trip Report, that i didn't go through yukon!

Another improvement is Yankee harbor. It's basically become a melting pot with no Discernable theme. Sometimes i just prey that people high up on the six flags food-chain read these boards.

ugh . . .Anyway . . .

Tell me, how many parks (besides Disney or Universal) order a log flume with custom boats? Not to menchin they both fit the theme areas real nice. Sher the Splashwater Falls theming isn't anythign special, but it's a shoot the chute. Rapids also has good theming.

Sometimes i just prey that people high up on the six flags food-chain read these boards.

SF Corp has taken a lot more steps in making their parks worse then better. Lucky SFGAm hasnt got that disease that SFMM or SFAW has.

There are a few things I would like changed

1. More garbage cans. Every time I go there people just throw their stuff everwhere and it makes the park unclean. :x

2. Improve the scenery of Batman the ride. It's good an all but very dirty.

3. Enforce the No- smoking policy in quene lines. It goes without saying. :D

Last time I checked there is a garbage can every 6 feet. The problem is the people are too lazy to walk even and extra inch to throw garbage away, so they just throw it on the floor. Also, last year I did not see hardly any garbage on the floor on the Midways. They clean the floor all day long. The problem I see is the Garbage in the Lines.

Except every time I go on American Eagle, there's a sign that says "trash receptable" with an arrow pointing down, but there is never a garbage can there. :D

Well their is garbage can in the lines, maybe not enough because people just leave their garbage on the ground after they are done

I'm sure there is a lot the park wants to do but with budget, how much can they do in a year?

Just an example of repaving the park= not an inexpensive thing.

Re-painting buildings= not cheap. I know for a fact that some park chains (Universal, Disney) touch-up painting things everyday of the year.

You have to remember how many parks are in the chain, and premier somewhat has to split the budget between the parks and waterparks.

Of Course. Well with what the park is doing this year we have nothing to complain about. Great America will look better with new rides and paint. As for painting buildings I dont know if that is in their near feature. As for paving the park i would think that the park would focus on their selection of rides rather than Paving the park which costs alot of money considering it is a theme park and their are a lot of pathways

Yeah, I also remember you coming an hour later than me and claiming that you helped .

B:TR at SFGAm has some of the nicest scenery of all B:TR's. If you mean dirty theming, well, it's theming, good theming, and we cant complain about that.
