Yes, I understand that but he did not get into the secured area while walking through the superstructure area, he went over two separate 6'+ tall fences, both marked with hazard signs to get into the spot where he was hit by the coaster. Sorry to sound callous, but that takes a special kind of stupid to do that.

Great America already has multiple coasters (Eagle, Batman, Viper, Raging Bull, Demon, Whizzer and Superman) where patrons walk underneath with fences separating them from the secured areas now - yet there has never been an incident.

They could always just make the path under Goliath a tunnel...

That wont happen. An underground necropolis would be bad ass though.

He means making a tunnel under the supports for goliath not allowing people to get in restricted zones. Nothing would be underground from what I believe.

I think they'll find a way to keep it. Attention spans seem to be shrinking at an alarming rate, so while many coaster people will probably be looking at October as the last opportunity to get as many laps on Goliath (or, <insert your coaster of choice>) as possible before the winter, at least a bit of the "new coaster smell" will have worn off for some guests by the end of the season, and their primary reason for visiting the park will be Fright Fest itself.

According to the 2014 Map, Necropolis will be rerouted between Loggers Run/Yankee Clipper and the Wilderness Theatre. That is where it shows the path to the Picnic Grove being at least, and I don't think they would change it just for Necropolis.

Like you said, it's not necropolis. They just need to have a loop there because during events that can get really crowded one way...I don't remember that area very well but there's definitely a space behind the theater where they could run a pathway.
