No... I believe my friend's poem of the "Hellavator" is going to win
Who are the judges?? Did anyone volunteer?

Is this contest going to be with 3 entries? And no one ever said who the judges are... What's the prize, if any... Or is it just knowing you had the best poem on the site? I guess these are relevant questions...
The Hellavator Poem is still the best in my opinion but I don't count really cos my friends the one that wrote it!!!

He's Gonna Getcha!
In '76, it towered over the park to the West
An Arrow creation, one of the best!
Its screaming white rails, its corkscrew finale
The thrill that was dubbed Turn Of The Century.
But wait! There's more to this catalog ride
Something happened to it that would make it a legend in time.
Then in 1980, the mutated nightmare took form
On opening day that year, a monster was born.
It's rails wer stained the darkest black.
Rock formations jutted up and around the track.
There was a pulsating light tunnel and a blood-red lagoon
And the inversion count was at four now, instead of two.
Truly a horror! Truly a sight!
An absolute terror! An absolute delight!
Even at the entrance, caged and red-eyed
The entity lures you in silence upon one heck of a ride!
24 years later, and a lot has changed.
The evil beast's cage lies under a flowery grave.
Untainted water runs for the skull cave's mouth
And this behemoth is notorious for once leaving riders upside down.
But the legend continues and still runs today.
Every summer in Gurnee, it traps more whom fall prey.
As you pass the station, you may hear its siren song...
"The Demon, he's gonna getcha!", so sit down and hold on.

ok, since the off-season is almost over, I've decided to take a break from this. Will a MOD create a poll and have EVERYone decide on who's the winner? (Excluding participants)

I liked Unbullievable's the most. You've gotta remember that a poem isn't always about rhyme. Many of the other ones sound forced kind of in the matter of 'the pig did a jig on a rig wearing a wig'. Poetry doesn't just work like that. I think Bull used some great techniques and his didn't sound forced at all.
