Should Raging Bull receive an ACE Landmark?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I was thinking about this because Batman received an ACE Landmark in 2005 for being the world's first inverted roller coaster. Since than more than a dozen inverted roller coasters have been built. Raging Bull should receive an ACE Landmark because it was the world's first Hyper-Twister roller coaster when it was built in 1999. Again, since than about a dozen hyper-twister roller coasters ahve been built.

ACE could claim the Funnel Cake stand as a historic landmark, and the park would probably oblige because they are getting so much publicity from how many members are in ACE, and coaster enthusiasts seeing oh golly gesh this is an landmark, I must ride it. If ACE feels like they want to do it, than I'm sure the park would be okay with it. I would not be surprised if ACE gives money to that type of stuff, or makes their own plaques.

I do believe that Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg opened before Raging Bull so I'm not sure it would qualify as the world's first hyper-twister coaster

Apollo isn't a hyper twister. They did claim Bull to be the first one but Fujiyama was built before that and could technically be called that. Either way I don't think it should be a landmark.

Batman changed how roller coasters were designed, operated, and even thought of. Raging Bull just does some cool things.

Raging Bull was neither B&M's first hyper (that distinction belongs to Apollo's Chariot) nor the first hyper-twister coaster. (A title that Fujiyama lays claim to.) Its layout is certainly nothing special, either.

Whizzer is the last remaining ride of its kind in this hemisphere, and one of only two operating worldwide. It's marvelously preserved and maintained, and boasts a large "fan base." Batman changed the way coasters are operated, thought up, executed, and maintained. Compare that to Bull, which is of little historical significance.

I'd love to see Whizzer get an ACE landmark, but rarely do they give one for being the last of something, as opposed to the first of something.
