I heard that today Six Flags Great America lost power. Can anyone confirm this?

I was there today and there was a power outage at about 3:00. It lasted roughly an hour and a half.

I was there with her and we basically just sat around. It took them about 2 hours to fully get the parks power back on, and the wait was pretty boring. For the first hour into it we couldn't buy food cause the registers and computer things were down. So we just kind of waited it out... Some rides were fixed faster than others, though, like Raging Bull, Condor, Yankee Clipper, The Dark Knight and Rajin Cajun, but we waited for Superman which was one of the last rides to be repaired. (: I don't know about the woodies, though, since we were mostly in New Orleans Place and briefly in Mardi Gras.

Certain rides were open up much faster than 1 hr & 1/2. I would say it lasted about 40 minutes until rides starting opening. I went on the train 1 1/2 laps around the park (County Fair - Hometown), and than stuff was back up though again, not everything. At that time Demon, X-Flight, Raging Bull, American Eagle (I think), and Viper were the rides up. Batman was still stuck on the lift hill at that time from the other side of the park though, so the full time might have been 1 hr & 1/2. Whizzer took a long time to get up and running compared to a lot of rides. As what I could see, Sky Trek Tower never opened up again.

CONDOR is open again. YAY! - just in general (not even talking about the power outage)

Okay, thanks for stating that, cause I really didn't know the status of the County Fair & Southwest Territory rides. All I knew was that Superman, Batman & V2 took the longest to open backup, since those were the only ones I could really see and I was in line for Superman. Also I think V2 had people on it when the power outage occurred, but they were in the station, same thing with both of the Superman cars, one was in the station and one was waiting to go into the station. Batman was just stuck, I don't know the back story on that one. So yah... Also do you know if it's true that Raging Bull didn't lose power at all? I heard if from a different source, but don't know if it was true. I did see them testing in the earlier parts of the power outage, but wasn't sure. It was a horrible day to go, don't you agree? The Superman line was ridiculously hot. ):

I heard it wasn't a total power loss, more of a brown out. Just bad enough to drop and reset all computer stuff, causing most rides to need to be "restarted".

^^ Well, different parts of the park are on different power grids so whatever one RB is on (and any other rides on its grid) probably wasn't affected. If the situation is dire enough, the park would've shut everything down as precautionary.

For the other rides being "reset", maintenance will go in order of need based on how the rides are called in. Priority rides would be ones with guests stuck out on the ride course (in a block brake for instance) or in positions where the ride is not in the proper load/unload position.
