Hmmm idk I think they need to get rid of Revolution. Everytime I passed by it, there were small lines and it also just makes me sick. Also I've never been on that orbit ride. How is it? Just looking at it makes me sick as well. I really can't see the park putting more exciting flats, the park barely has extra room as it is. I think the park will have to get rid of a coaster to make room for an exciting flat.
By the way, I really would like one of those sky screamer/whirligig type of flats. A real, real tall one. How tall do those bad boys go btw??

It has small lines because it fits 40 people per cycle. Trust me, it doesn't look popular, but it really is. It can sometimes get +600 riders per hour which is higher than any other flat.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
There was a flat ride mentioned in one of the other Forums that was a sky fly. Do they make those 2 sided instead of just 12 chairs on the one side? That looks like it could be a real fun flat. I mean either you can sit there and have a mild ride or turn it thrilling by rocking your seat.

As for Revolution, the ride isn't even that bad. I mean people seem to think that just because they don't like a ride it should go.I absolutely hate fiddlers fling, and I don't believe it should go...
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!
A flat ride I could see being developed, would use Kuka robotic arms. If the arms could be made bigger and able to hold 12+ riders apiece, a new age sky whirl could be built. Or if they stay 4 person carts, there could be like a dozen of them flying around at a time. They could have different operating programs too, to provide variety. These things can be programmed to twist in any direction possible. Think of a Forbidden Journey flat ride. Gerstlauer already has some ideas that are similiar.

SFStL's is the only one still operating. I think there is one in storage in Italy somewhere, and the other is stored somewhere in China last being used at the World Carnival. SFGAdv cut it off it's trailers and ground mounted it, it got screwed it up pretty bad which is why it had to be taken down and sent to SFStL, but most of the maintenance headaches stem from the modifications.
I will still ride it, but the ride looks much better than what it is. The closest comparison is The Orbit, and I think the Orbit is a better ride. I like the Xcalibur music they have on it at StL. The speakers are in the backs of the seats, and play music when it's loading. The times I've ridden it, the workers also talk to the people while they are on the ride with kind of corny stuff like singing the spongebob song. To me, StL doesn't need it though. They have a version of The Orbit over there called Highland Fling. They should get a Troika instead (in Xcalibur's place) maybe, but please not SFGAms.

I actually think the ride ops talking to people during Xcalibur is helpful. I think the distractions and "activities" help prevent people from either passing out, getting sick, or just feel worse in general.
What do you people think of a gravitron? I always have wanted to ride one and never gotten the chance to since the carnival that was in my area is gone for good, or till further notice. The one I wanted to ride looked exactly like an alien spaceship. Would it make a good fit for the park?

I have no problem with a carnival ride at the amusement park. What I don't like about that ride is that it's too much of a liability because people do stupid stuff on that ride. Case in point how stupid, people could be on a Gravitron: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMvtizOAtVU

Get Rid of Revvy the seats on that thing are too small and need 3 clicks which is hard for thin people to even get sometimes. JWR is extremely tiny the only place I can sit is the middle it would be better suited for where the MMS emporium is. King Chaos also has to go the last couple times I was on it something didnt feel right. Definaely bring back Sky Whirl for our park a triple ferris wheel just makes sense from an efficiency standpoint and Hay Baler, I would love older type rides like the Whip, and larger tumble bug, tilt a whirl bu supersized, a disco would be really cool, but i would love to see a breakdance with all the lights fog and music you could handle. Get rid of the go karts and put your sky screamer in (even thoguh the only thing going for these rides is the view) or whatever else you would want to put in. in reality just something family sized with seats for everyone not just skinny twinks x flight lookin @ u again.

Leave ERC alone. Get rid of JWR but then rename whatever you put in its place JWR this way you dont need to update that much for the ride and it will still fit into the themeing.
