I wouldn't hold my breath for it. Hades was designed from the get-go to have 2 trains. Opa is practically a clone of Ragin Cajun and let's look at how many cars it had:
My tip: Mt Olympus won't publish when this ride will debut, but will likely get it open before Memorial day. Call ahead a few times and see if you can sneak in on this and get some rides in before the summer crowds smash into the one train operation.
I was lucky enough to ride Hades a week after it opened in 2005 (in early April) when it was easily a Top 10 coaster. Let's hope it gets back to that status for at least...3 months?
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2 Coaster Count: 444
I chuckle remembering how they said at NCC that they were working around the clock to open Memorial Day Weekend. They're probably putting that energy into buying another Hotel.

Yeah. I remember that. I also seem to remember it odd that they don't have a date to announce when it will be open, as well as a media day.
At this point who knows when it will be open. I'm guessing Memorial Day, but at this point who knows...
I am curious to see how these new elements change the pacing of the rest of the ride, and the ride time. The huge hill didn't really slow down the ride all that much, but I bet it will feel shorter.
Honestly, I'm excited...and also terrified to see how the ride will turn out a few years from now.
I rode it on Tuesday and I was a little disappointed. I rode Hades in 2010 and 2012 and honestly feel like it is running even rougher than it use to. It was drizzling a little bit on Tuesday so the track should have been smoother (or I thought) but the ride was still the same rough Hades. The Timberliner restraints get really tight on you, and the ride is rough in the new track, the replaced track, and the old track.
I'm glad they did the inversion to remove that slow hill during the turnaround, but I rode the ride in the front and back and I was done (And I can tolerate many re-rides) but yeah, definitely sit in the front.

That is pathetic if it is somehow rougher. When I rode it in 2010 it was painful enough already. Imagine how it will be in 2-3 years.

Word of advise... Get there this year. Already rough! Hades use to be one of my favorite rides... Then it got old.
I went there with my son about a month ago (week 2 of it being open) and it got inexplicably rougher as the day went on. It was a fun roller coaster but Cyclops was the real star of that park - especially in the back!
Glad I got to ride it. Mt Olympus closed the park an hour early on a Monday because... well, they never said. They just kicked us off the ride like asses at 5 when the park closed at 6.

Jerks
That's a little rude! They do hire lots of eye candy though. Back to the point, what were the conditions that day? And a little off topic but at least I feel this way every time I go there, do you feel 'safe'? Like on the rides? It just feel like the staff does not care at all, I remember once I was stuck on Cyclops break run and staff had absolute no idea what to do and people just started to let themselves out... Anyone have these types of stories from here?
I got 12 rides on it last weekend. The actual new section itself is fun. Actually the overbank is probably the craziest part of the ride. Insane Gs with a catwalk literally IN your face.
But the rest of the ride lost it's pacing. The second half is slow, no more airtime. The pre-lift also lost it's charm with the new trains. For some reason, the airtime just wasn't there.
