Yeah I tend to look at it both ways: The number AND the quality of coaster/experience there is.
I am not a credit whore because I do not try to hit every single coaster available in a park, but on the other hand I do enjoy adding to my numbers as well . So I suppose I look it at in the best of both worlds..
My count is around 200. My son's count is at 20 different woodies ( AE forwards and backwards only count as one) and 46 steel. total of 66 at the ripe old age of 7. Yes i said 7 yrs old!
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!
I think 51.
My top 5: 1 Raging Bull 2 Goliath (SFMM)3 Riddler's Revenge 4 American Eagle 5 Viper (SFgrAm).
Park visits 2004:
Six Flags Great Adventure in April.
Six Flags Holland in summer.
Warnerbros Movieworld Spain in summer.
Warnerbros Movieworld Germany in summer.
and when i have money left i will in october go to
Islands of Adventure and Busch Gardens Tampa.
2005: I will come for a couple of days to
Six Flags Great America in the spring.

ACE coaster classics are given to coasters with the most traditional experience, not the best coasters .
Big Dipper rocks! I love that coaster...preferably in the front for some fun ejector air over the hills, but the back is amazing for its rough and tumble ride. And the trains are comfortable as hell.
As for my track record, I've been lucky enough to have been on exactly 500 coasters in my life. Interestingly enough, #500 was none other than SUF at SFGAm. I've had quite a few B&Ms as milestones lately...#300 SHOULD have been Nitro in 01, but ended up being 301 lol.
SUF SFoG was #350
Nemesis was #400
SUF SFGAm #500.
I'm running out of B&Ms to ride though, Scream is the only US B&M I haven't been on (will hit that and La Ronde's Batman this year, as well as Silver Bullet).

Ah I'm sorry! Should hove been in the front seat! 3-1 has some great ejector air. Also, they are retracking it so hopefully it won't washboard so much.

Are you dissing #300? Whats wrong with a Reverchon Crazy Mouse?
Lucky they were open past midnight or what ever absurd time we made it to Steel Pier. And the Pokemon Coaster was a Miler/Molina-moliCoaster/Overland Coaster, and I'm still sticking to it. Alan Herschell, you must have forgotten Sandy Lake Park's Herschell Oval for comparason
Pokemon Coaster should have been your 300'th.
Golf Cart ride anyone?
(done rambling)
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
I could swear I listed mine earlier, but I dont see it, not that it matters as it just went up anyways. I'm now at 475 Coasters, 114 of those being wood tracked, and I've been to 106 different parks.
(though after next weekend when I get back to Worlds of Fun, it will be 476 with a shiny new Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster)

Just the ones at SFGAm, minus V2 and Deja Vu, plus Rolling Thunder and SW = 11. I've also been to the one at MGM in Florida = 12, and Space Mountain (not sure which track) & Big Thunder Railroad at the Magic Kingdom = 14. I'm going to be sure to ride V2 and DV and of course RC, so I'll have 17 this summer. And if I go to Sea World Orlando, I'll have 18 and get to ride my first floorless, Kraken.
