What did you do on the railroad? I'm not expert but that doesn't seem to require much op-ing. Sitting in the back and doing the safety spiel, opening the gates, changing the clock thingy, sitting in the engine looking pretty (Unless the guy in the engine controlls the train, in which case, i get it) But what did you do?
(This is becuase i'm clueless. Don't take this offensivly or something)

No offense taken. I worked there for the last month of operation in 1999. There is a position at the back of the train and one driving it. It's just like any other ride, really. Person in back does the spiels, opens the gate, makes sure everyone is seated through the ride. Person driving has to start the train gently so as to not jerk everyone, then gradually increase to maximum speed, sound the bell, and the horn. Then they have to stop it.
It was a great time because you got to RIDE something all day! But then you had to spend 20mins waiting for the next train to come around when you were at a station.
I don't know about you guys but I sure as heck wouldn't be surprised if Vu's not open working or not. in my opinion operating it all day is enough for the ride, and Vu was never included on employee nights (from what I understand).
I was just wondering, how would they know if you had a season pass after hours? Do you have to go and show them again or do they just ask random people if they can see their passes.. just curious how that would work.
Need a break from college homework.. 2004 season, come faster!!

They will probably ask to see your season pass at front of the coasters queue.
Im also going to bet what there going to do is only have a part of the park open, Possibly a different part each of the nights. As, One night it will be Superman, Whizzer, Ragingbull, Viper, Deja Vu.
Another night will probably be Superman, V2, Batman, Iron Wolf and American Eagle. Doing this they can keep everyone in one part of the park. Then again, this is just my guess

Why would they not OPEN Deja Vu if it was working? Opening more rides = a little less waits in other lines (depends on crowd).
Well for each ride that is open they are paying that much more to operate because they aren't only having to keep the lights on and the coaster running for a couple more hours but that requires ride ops that are dying to get home. If DV was up I really don't see it being open for something like this. What is the word for the ride next year? Do they have it up for good, or is it still unpredictable?
Good sounds like the plan for TTD. It's supposed to be up all next year. Let's just see if it works for both parks to have such good rides up all the time with all the past problems.
