It aired on Sunday July 8th, and I know this post is a little late, but you can find reruns hopefully. Basically, what happens is that they talk about 4 coasters per episode, and than at the end they have a poll about which one is the best out of the 4. They had coasters such as Alpengeist, Montu, Sheikra, Medusa at SFDK, Aftershock (SFGAm's former Deja Vu) at Silverwood, SeaWorld's Manta Flying Coaster, Apollo's Chariot, etc.
This aired on the Travel Channel at 8 pm. On July 8th, they also had show called Xtreme Waterparks which aired at 7 pm. Both shows I guess are going to be weekly shows. I don't know for how long, but they are on Sundays as of right now.
And for this Insane Coaster Wars show, this is NOT the only week it's on. It's supposed to be on next week also with wooden coasters. My opinion of the show is that it's not a bad show. They show you the whole ride pov, but my only complaint is that they should have had 5 coasters for each show. With 4, they are really yack, yack about each ride.

They had "G-Force Giants" with the Following 4: - Medusa @ SFDK - Afterburn @ Carowind's (Filled With Top Gun Jokes) - Apollo's Chariott @ BGEurope - SheiKra @ BGAfrica
And The Inverted Coasters Challenge with the Following 4: - Manta @ SW Orlando - Montu @ BGAfrica - Aftershock @ Silverwood - Alpengeist @ BGEurope
in my opinion, if Deja Vu was still at SFGAm, than it wouldn't have even been considered. I don't think I've ever seen a ride from Great America on a show like that.
It was a good show with the exception of the interviews from one particular "enthusiast." These kinds of shows don't seem to come on too often anymore, so I like to watch them when they come on.
I'm glad Aftershock won, its an incredible coaster for its simple design. I still think SFGAm made a mistake in its removal...it runs great at Silverwood. Our park just didn't want to invest in of anymore & I truly do understand, just sucks for people like me who really loved it.
I have these downloaded, so if people want them for posterity PM me and I'm sure we can work something out. I will be continuing to grab them as they air, since I assume they won't be put out on DVD anytime soon.
For that Xtreme waterparks show, I think the problem is, is that about every episode they keep showing one of those body slides that go straight down. I think it would be better if they would have called it Unique Water Rides or something like that instead of just Xtreme because it's getting redundant for so many parks have something like those body slides that go straight down.
