Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

My predictions
2013:American Eagle refurbishment (re-track,remove wings,paint,new trains,and blue side always running backwards.) :D

2014: Sky Screamer/other major flat and small water park attraction (similar to what Great Adventure got this year.)

2015: Remove Wilderness Theater for 4D Launch coaster (possibly 200 feet 5-7 inversions 75mph) something record breaking.... Would be very happy

Just my opinions... :!:

^^ 2013: Not likely. And to clarify the wings, there would be a lot of structural work done for them to be able to remove the wings. If they got new trains, the new trains would have to have similar wings.

2014: Probably right, though I'd guess that for 2013

2015: That's a really nice fantasy, but a very bad prediction

It seems everyone is thinking a new ride / flat next year. Have we heard anything to substantiate this, or are we all just hoping?

I mean, I'd love not to wait another 5 - 8 years for another new ride, but...

I see a flat or 2, but at least a couple years for a new coaster. I kept hearing a 4D around Iron Wolf's old spot last year, but park employees can sometimes rumor-monger just as bad as us.

Six Flags Great America would get a new coaster for 2015 :) and put it at the space available where Iron Wolf was located.

Hint: +100 ft, +70 mph, 1-3 inversion(s), and 12 riders.
Emotion: Thrilled!

I am pretty sure Six Flags Great America would not add a ride like this, 12 riders? Think of how low the hourly capacity would be, it would have too run many trains like Maverick does but knowing Great America there would be stacking. I just don't see that coming in 2015.

You will never know.

Don't you remember about the spot? Six Flags Great America saves the station for a while.
The park wants to remove one of seven rows at its station because the park should have six rows only for a new coaster.

Even though I know the park should have twenty-eight riders as same as Iron Wolf had, but unfortunately, it is hard to find a new coaster for SEVEN ROWS at the station. I don't think that would happen, so then.

I cannot tell about this, so we'll see what's going on though.

No worry, but Six Flags Great America needs to remove one of its thirteen coasters for the new coaster. Maybe Whizzer?

Even though my prediction is the park wants to get rid of all the log flumes and Vertical Velocity for making more space, so we could get a new GIGA coaster and a new kiddie park with a junior coaster.

That's what I dreamed :D I wish that would happen though.

^ Um, I don't see what is so confusing here. You said that the park needs to remove a coaster to add a new coaster. Iron Wolf has not been replaced yet, they already have room

Stop acting like a smart a$$ who thinks they know everything. I dont even think you realize how completely idiotic you sound.

Heres the low down: NOTHING is confirmed for the park at this point. Nothing has even been confirmed for 2013 yet. So, there is absolutely no possible way that you could know what is going to happen at the park 3 years from now. On another note, in your original post you stated the ride would go where iron wolf used to be, but then later on you state that another coaster would need to be torn down. see the inconsistency now? You also state that it is extrememly hard to find a coaster that has more than 6 lines in the queue. AGAIN< WRONG. IF you knew the first thing about roller coasters, its that any ride can be designed and accomodated to fit the needs of the park. Unless its a clone per say, in which case even some things can still be adjusted to fit the needs of the park.

This thread is for speculation, not acting like your cool because you supposedly know of a new attraction because the lemon chill guy told you it was coming.

I will now get off my soap box. Thank you for listening.
