I would imagine that removing Iron Wolf contributed to being behind on some of the maintanance this past off season. The only reason I say that is because it was all hands on deck to Wolf taken down, loaded up onto flatbeds. They wanted that coaster gone to the next park in a heartbeat. I mean dang, as they were taking it down, seems like they were taking care of bussiness at the other park putting it up in it's new home. I may be wrong, just going on an estimation from working at a couple of other parks in the off season.

Teal Train has completed its 50 test cycles and is now taking riders. Raging Bull is running 3 trains for the remainder of the day. I would expect Red Train to be down starting tomorrow morning.

Demon now has all 3 trains running with riders.

^Usually this process takes a little over a week. Basically they remove all the lapbars, rehab the ratcheting mechanism at the base of each lapbar, and then re-install the lapbars.

Great America used an outside contractor, Ride Entertainment Services to handle the dismantling and subsequent rebuilding of Iron Wolf, the park shouldn't have done anything there.

Update on Raging Bull's trains. Red train will be down Monday through Thursday until the lapbar rehab is finished (Probably 2 weeks). All 3 trains will be running weekends, and of course daily after the rehab is finished.

Yeah, I found it odd that lines to rides were pretty manageable. Waterpark was packed with the hot day it was. V2 and Superman had empty switchbacks, X-Flight line was up to the keyhole.

It was really confusing to see how good the lines were for the regular park. I think it has to do with the waterpark getting a lot of people, and it also has to do with barely any buses. Those are really the killer as in whether or not the park is going to be crowded. Most of the buses I see are Blue Bird and they have a capacity of either 48 - 77 or 66-90 students per bus. You have 12 buses, and that's almost a 1,000 people. Sure, when there aren't many cars (only a few rows), it's not bad with 30 buses, but you take all the cars in the regular lots & than add a lot of buses, that's a lot of people.

I also wonder how many people in the shows (to stay cool). The parking lot was full in the front, and there were some cars in the back. I would say maybe 3 or 4 rows. There weren't that many in the back, but still Superman, and Batman really shouldn't be complete walkons with that many cars. V2 did have a station wait, but it was a canned sardine type of station wait in which I seen. People on top of each other.

^I also rode yellow train, and it was not as enjoyable for me as usual. Maybe it was roughness, but I really didn't pay much attention.

Where are you guys feeling the roughness? For me it's at the bottom of the first camel back.

I almost thought it was less than previous years. Because there year was the first time I noticed a good pop of airtime in the back row when heading over the camel back.

The trim has always been audible from the queue. In Viper's as well.

Last year at FF the trim was off. Rode it at night. The best ride Iv'e ever had on RGBull. Unreal airtime!

If the trim was off, that means the train was traveling to slowly for it to activate, so actually it was running worse than normal. I notice a lot of times that trim has a huge psychological effect on a lot of people.

Well if the trim was off because the train was going too slow, why did we have such hellacious airtime? I wish that trim would be off most of the time. I know it's there for a reason but that night was to me the best ride I've ever had on RGBull.
