Batman was basically a walk on yesterday. We waited for 1 train at 6 pm. There was a flash pass person working at the mouth of the tunnel. Noone was in the switchbacks. I was in shock.

^I'm not really shocked. The people that probably came to the park were mostly in the waterpark, Roaring Rapids, & Flumes with it being close to 90 degrees.

It was really nice. We were at the watermark for a few hours and it was crowded. But after about five, I noticed alot of people leave so it was cool. American Eagle was a walk on too at this time.

As of 2:30pm today 7 of the 9 cars of Raging Bull's Teal train have been added to the transfer/storage tracks.
I'm going tomorrow for the book drive for X-Flight ERT. Hopefully it will be running tomorrow, but I'll give an update.
^ Raging Bull will NOT run Teal Train tomorrow. They still have 2 more cars to lift. After that is done, they have to do weight testing on Teal Train with the water dummies, and then run it empty 50 cycles, and have the state inspector sign off on it. I'd say Wednesday at the earliest for anyone riding Teal Train.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Bull can't run 3 trains for about a week (maybe 2) after the 3rd train is cleared by the state inspectors. This is because of how rehabs are done at Bull. Once Teal train is ready for riders, Red train (which spent the winter out at the ride and had minimal work done) will go down for its annual lapbar rehab.
^^ and ^ I tried to post this earlier while at the park, but my phone doesnt like to work in crowds. They lifted the train very silently and quickly (posted that pic and went to re-ride maybe 3 hours later and it wasnt on the ground) VERY promising either way, but scary to see how short lines are on weekends. The extra week or whatever delay should absolutely NOT be an issue, but as nice as short lines are as a guest, theyre AWFUL for the chain. Thats why I dont mind 1+ hour waits!

When it's very hot - the water park steals a ton of people. I think the lines will get a little longer farther into the summer - not that I want that, but... 
You shouldn't worry about it. When they have heat warnings out such as don't be outdoors for an excessive amount of time, the people that are going to go to an amusement park are going to most likely go to the waterpark instead of the regular rides. If the weather was in the 70s / lower 80's on the weekends, I'm sure the park would have been more packed than it was because not as many people would have been in the watepark.  All 9 cars are up now. They still have to put the fiberglass piece on by the wheels and do their testing. I would guess it will test Wednesday and have riders Thursday.
Was at the park today...didn't get a picture but the train had water dummies in it so I am assuming they have started testing the train. Maybe it will be up before this weekend.
My guess is they will complete testing tomorrow. Teal train will definitely have riders before the weekend, but as I said before, Red train will go down for 1-2 weeks as soon as Teal is good.
I was at the park yesterday and surprisingly Raging Bulls Red Train was ferociously rough. It gave me a headache worse than the demon or Iron Wolf would. I was shocked but I thought that it was just a fluke.
Also lines yesterday were fairly long. Waited 45 minutes for Bull and I did see the teal train with the dummies on it. I hope that will be over within the week.
^The reason why that happened - 45 minutes for a ride - could be because of stacking and whatnot, but most likely it's because of the weather. For the 70's degree weather, a lot of people won't go to the waterpark because it's too cold, and than you have all the other water rides which are probably emptier also. What I usually see on the attendance counter thing for the waterpark is about 3000 / 4000 people. So, if people aren't in the waterpark, than that means 3000 people are in the regular park. Granted though, when it's too cold you can also have less people come to the park because they can't go to the waterpark, and they really want to go to the waterpark. When barely anyone is in the waterpark, expect larger crowds for the regular park. And when it's really hot outside, that's the best time to visit the regular park because everyone is in the waterpark. For Saturday with a high of 88 degrees, the regular park should be much emptier during the day. Have fun.

^Or it was a 45 minute wait because the ride wasn't running all 3 trains.
And Bull really can't stack with two trains unless the crew is completely incompetent.
I'm sorry but this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!! Why would they use the train if only to pull it off again.....should have all this work been done prior to the park opening? I can understand 1 train not being complete but if they pull a train off now coming into the busy 4th of July period that is just poor poor planing and the line will surely be close too 1:30 most likely and that makes for alot of unhappy guests who are used to Bull moving very quickly.
LastSaturday when I was on Raging Bull I noticed roughtness on the track at the bottom of the 1st camel back. It vibrated the hell out of the train. I can't remember what train I was on though. Candy: What you lookin' at?

Believe it or not sometimes maintenance issues come up unexpectedly. They likely thought that running two trains now, as long as safety permitted and fixing it so they don't have to ever drop to one train was the best solution. Had they prepared for 3 trains for july 4th there would be an entire thread of people complaining about how ridiculous the park is to only run it with 1 for the time being. Believe it or not the park knows what they are doing. -Remember there's nothing but air beneath the chair.
This is how the park has done Bull's rehabs EVERY year, the only difference is how late teal train came out. Usually the 3rd train comes out the second week of May, and the other train's lapbar rehab gets done before Memorial Day. Also, the lapbar rehab takes 1 - 1 1/2 weeks, 2 at the very most, exactly HOW does this take you to July 4th?
If it wasn't this everyone would be griping about X-Flight opening Memorial Day weekend or later. Six Flags dedicated a LOT of time, money, and manpower to the construction of this ride. Albeit I know that not EVERYONE had some sort of assignment dedicated to X-Flight, but it really took away from other park operations (I'll guarantee EVERY maintenance guy was trained on the how-to's for this ride, which may have taken Weeks to complete). God forbid we've had to put up with a 3 week delay. Can we just leave it alone, let them do their jobs and enjoy the park as normal? Or is that asking too much... Missing Shockwave more and more every day.
I said 4th of July period buddy... I work in the vacation industry and I know for a fact that alot of people take vacations starting around the 25th of June through about the 10th of July because that is probably our busiest time of the year. I was just stating that it would possibly run into a busier part of the holiday vacations people take and would upset guests that have never or come to the park only a few times. I could care less about Bull not having 3 trains...I'm still gonna ride it no matter what
Either way, I still don't see this "poor planning" you mentioned in the original post. I don't think the park planned on Teal Train taking this long. And I doubt they can put Red train off much longer, and if they did, then it wouldn't be ready for the even busier Read To Succeed period.
I'm hoping Saturday will be like that as well...
If you take care of your ride maintence issue's properly you perfrom all of your train rehabs before the park opens in may, and then only have train downtime if issue's come up. And if you are opening a new ride you hire/train enough staff to take care of your rehab issue's and still have a the new ride up and running on time.
I would imagine that removing Iron Wolf contributed to being behind on some of the maintanance this past off season. The only reason I say that is because it was all hands on deck to Wolf taken down, loaded up onto flatbeds. They wanted that coaster gone to the next park in a heartbeat. I mean dang, as they were taking it down, seems like they were taking care of bussiness at the other park putting it up in it's new home. I may be wrong, just going on an estimation from working at a couple of other parks in the off season. Candy: What you lookin' at?
