Question about Goliath

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Will someone please look at this picture and then answer my question?

Do you notice those little thingies (don't know what else to call them) in the middle of the track? But then you look over to the track on the left side and they aren't there, but then the track towards the right side has them too. I guess i'm just curious what those are.

I'm assuming that thoes are on steep inclines and its easier for maintnence to reach tall places (ex. trim brakes/lift). Look similar to the ladder on V2

yep, They are maintenance stairs (hah sfmm, maintanance, yeah right)

One, odd thing I noticed at SFMM was how almost everyride had these ladders all over the rides. I never saw a B&M with these steps until I saw Riddler's Revenge which has them throughout it's whole course.
