Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Let's not forget all the single seats that will be going out empty. I remember all singles being paired up on Demon when it was new; it is possible, but I would be surprised to see the park strive (or even try a bit) to do that.

True.

For the ERT, I would like to thing there won't be any shyness in riding with someone you don't know. I know I won't be :)

Went on it twice this morning. The first time I rode it in the third row on the left wing and the second time I rode the last row on the right wing. The wait was about an hour both times and I arrived right at 10:02 for my first ride.

I'll go ahead and say that it's my favorite ride in the park. It was smooth, thrilling, and just plain fun! It ranks 4th on my coaster list just ahead of Maverick. The drop was intense and so was the final helix. The inversions were nice because they weren't tight like Batman but still whipped you.

I'll post a full review with pictures when I get home.

Crazy how different the front is compared to the back!  Front row right wing is in my opinion amazing!! Rode it twice so far and other time was left wing row 8. Very intense.....really pushed into your seat quite a few times!  My new favorite ride at the park and haven't given it a rank overall as of yet...but it's definitely up there!

My sister and I are season pass holders, and are considering going tomorrow so we can ride X-Flight. We only want to ride it once, and know that Six Flags said that you can ride it once before you get your pass processed. We won't be arriving until 11:30 or 12:00 though, so do you guys think that it is worth it? I don't want to go if pass processing and riding X-Flight will take away a ton of time from the 8 hours that we can spend there. And by the way, how were the lines for Viper, Batman, Raging Bull and V2 today? Those are my favorites, and if I can I would like to hit them all, and ride Viper multiple times back row. :D

Vipers 1 hour plus with only one train running. Raging Bull was about 45 minutes, Superman at 90minutes, Dark Knight at 75 minutes, V2 was 45 minutes, and Eagle is 30 minutes plus and I haven't been close to Batman. And X Flight is worth it. I got 11 rides total on it today and its great every time.

What an awesome day. I got to ride X-Flight 8 times today. Sat everywhere I could on it. I love front row, left side, outer seat. Cant wait to ride it again thought the Xtreme Pass intro from 9-10 to the ride and getting to use my eXit Pass on it as well spoiled the hell out of me. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.....but my baby is still V2.

Interesting. Seems like not many people were there today for X-flight. Was the line a constant 1 hour wait or was it higher? Does anyone think that Viper will only be running one train tomorrow as well? How long was the pass processing line? And lastly, is it worth it if I get there at 12:00?

I have don't know what exactly is going on with Viper. It was closed all day Friday for some type of maintenance on the trains. I assume only one was finished today. I don't know what they're doing or how long the other train will take.

They were working on Vipers other train today. Pass processing never looked extremely busy today. X Flights line was long all day and they were prepared to make it longer.

Viper was one train all day today, and you could see the other train sitting in the shed with what looked like all of its seats taken out. The first thing I thought was that it looked like some sort of maintenance overhaul that didn't get done before the season opened. Made Viper a long, boring wait.

X-Flight was a pretty steady 45 minutes all day. The only thing that varied was some long cycles in the station as they (I assume) tried to fit people on the ride or took them off the ride. The seat is a pretty tight fit and it's hard to hop up into the seat and position yourself in it because the "arms" of the seat are flexible and just give way when you try to use them for support to get into the seat. I think this is going to make it difficult for some shorter or larger riders to get seated properly.

I saw some pretty big folks on the ride. My partner, though, a larger guy, couldn't ride because the backup belt couldn't be clasped. I guess they're being overly cautious with X-Flight, especially as they train station crews, so instead of shoving the restraint shut like they would on Batman or V2, they basically told him if he couldn't close it himself, he couldn't ride. Later he told me the problem was that he wasn't able to get seated all the way back when he sat down and the flexible arms made it impossible to reposition himself in the seat. I bet others had/will have this same problem.

As others have said, too, that vest gets really, really tight. It's not at all like on Superman where you still have some wiggle room. It really holds you down and in your seat, and can make it hard to breath by the end of the ride.

The whole experience today was a bit of a letdown. To me, it was like riding Raging Bull with inversions and no pauses between the elements. But really nothing more special than that. I get why some people rode it many times today. But I can also see why others might just find the ride kind of meh.

Thanks everyone for the information! I think I will actually be able to get there at 10:00 am tomorrow so my problems are pretty much done. I really hope Viper is finished by tomorrow, and X-flight's lines are pretty good. Did anyone see/hear about any mad non-season pass holders today?

I did see some kids at the entrance being turned down because they had Thrill Passes and not season passes. I must say, the lady could have been nicer about it. She was mean to everyone. She made a younger kid cry saying he was too short and that he should try again in another 2-3 years. After the kid started tearing up, she looked over and started laughing with another employee. My dad went over and talked to her about it and she apologized to the kid. He doesn't normally do anything like that because he is shy like myself but my dad was upset by it.

Another guy walked up and talked to her also and he was fuming. I'm assuming it was the kid's dad as he went over and talked to another employee and pointed her out. The kid was too short to ride but she was rude to more than one person. I didn't see her again the second time through though.

I'll be posting some pictures in a few minutes here.

I would report it to her manager. This is the kind of behavior that turns families and their dollars from coming back to the park. She should not be working at a park like Six Flags. Witch.

I agree. Front row right wing is the best. Its a very fun ride but I still like Bull the best.

That's pretty much dead-on how I felt about the ride. Weird that we think it *feels* like Raging Bull, but it sure did. It's B&M, what should one expect? They are very good at what they do.

No matter what I think (or a few others who could "take it or leave it") it sure is gonna be a huge hit. It looks GREAT, I look forward to watching it - especially at night. It's really cool that you can get so close to it. I wonder if they are going to install netting near the first drop, etc..

I know your comment is short, but I agree with you. I felt first off that the ride was very jerky. This ride just feels like the unsmoothest B&M I've been on. I was on the right side in the back, and I also was in the middle right side row. For the middle, I did feel the hangtime on the Dive Loop, but the going slow upside down, I didn't feel it as much as in the back of the train. It would be nice if I could have both of those on one seat, but besides those parts, for instance the Zero-G rolls don't feel very intense at all compared to Batman. The Immelman I didn't get airtime on that either in the back or middle compared to Sheikra which I got good airtime. I guess I don't even like Immelmans unless they give airtime. For Montu, that one doesn't give airtime. Back to the Dive Loop, I think it's just too slow going off the lift hill compared to something like Riddler's Revenge or Mantis. Quite honestly, I would take Iron Wolf over this ride because Iron Wolf had airtime in the loop, the helix was very intense at the end, and the corkscrew wasn't bad once you knew the secret. And yes, I know that people shouldn't have to know how to ride something, and the ride deserved to be taken down and scrapped because if they didn't move your head after the corkscrew, you would feel like a punching bag, and that's why it's gone. However, they just moved it to a worse park instead. I also think Superman has better harnesses.

2 positives since I said stuff I don't like. Those uniforms are awesome the workers have on, and the music is outstanding for a Six Flags ride. It's not just one song. It's an entire soundtrack. I wouldn't mind maybe buying it if they sold it in the stores.

There aren't many B&Ms that I have ridden in which I just say that was okay, not great. It's usually I completely like it (Goliath at SFOG or Hydra at Dorney Park), or I just don't like it (Fire Dragon at Universal or Raging Bull). This is one of the it's okay category to me, and Talon is another one.

The Exclusive Ride Time was awesome. Got at the park at 8:25, ended up waiting for Security to unlock the back gate. Guess we were excited.

It appeared to only have about 50 Xtreme pass holders there, and man, was that worth it.

We got about 5 rides on the left side. We did back first, then scooching up to approximately the middle as we were allowed to just move to a different seat unless we wanted to stay where we were at. After about 5 - 6 rides, we ran over to the other side and rode on the right.

I just have to say, the inside position is very cool, and packs a little more whallop. Rode it in the back, then rode it in the middle, and ended ERT with a front row ride.

In that hour we got 12 rides, and was very fun. This is definitively a winner, and a pick 'em for best coaster in the park with Bull in my opinion. The hanger head chopper was a huge oh my god moment for sure, and the drop is nice and intense in the back.

Front right is also a super surprise. Oh, and yeah, prepare to take a facial of water on the right back, (it's not that bad).

Awesome ride, awesome day. Can't wait for next week's ERT of Raging Bull!

Did you guys try row 4? I think that's the row with the longer belts. If I'm incorrect on the row #, then it's the row with the red belts. See if he'll fit in that next time. I'm a larger person myself, 5'8'' 270 lbs, and I was able to fit fine on this today.

I really liked this ride, much more than Wild Eagle. I loved the twist at the top of the drop and taking the drop head first almost. I was excited to ride it, and it made my day. However, I didn't think it felt like much of anything out of the ordinary and by far isn't the best coaster I've ever ridden. It's a very good ride though, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It actually felt rather mild compared to what I was expecting, so if there's anyone in your group who doesn't like fast, tall, overly forceful rides, I think this would be perfect for them.

Row 4 does indeed have larger belt... something I took advantage of my second ride. After riding in the back on the right and in row 4 on the left I think I prefer the left middle slightly more. Very very good ride, and Ihave it in my top 3.

It appears that the webcam host has been shutdown. Is there any reason to believe that they will put it back up again? At this point I'm assuming they mean to keep it down permanently because the ride is complete.

Good assessment. Just rode for the first time today and thought it was a lot of fun (middle row right side), definitely rerideable. I was smiling the whole ride. Very smooth and easy to enjoy. I thought the restraints were very comfortable. Looking forward to trying different seats.

Just rode it today. I am very pleased: smooth, fast, and very comfortable; I didn't feel pressed in by the restraints at any time like some reports stated. As for the rest of the park, I don't think I had to wait more than 15 minutes for anything! It was a great day!
