Coasterdemon: Has this coaster made you feel a bit better about B&M? I know your not a huge fan. Please can you give us a bit more about how you felt about it...I realize you don't want to ruin any surprises for anyone, but throw us a bone and tell us something. What was your favorite part?
The Good - People are going to LOVE it. It looks GREAT. The theme elements add more to the ride than I thought they would. The queue path is not too long. It's fun. The keyhole and subsequent supports worked great, and were great head-choopers It's sleek to watch and eerily quiet. You get great views of the park and your other favorite coasters.
The Neutral - After a few rides, I had a (strange yet obvious) feeling. "This feels just like Raging Bull, except with a VERY tight vest."
The Bad - The vest gets VERY tight by the end of the ride. I can only imagine how much more fun this ride would be with restraints similar to the Dare Devil Dive at Six Flags Over Georgia. This is going to be a capacity nightmare. Pray for some sort of "pairing up training" or a single rider line.
(PS - this is just my review, nobody has to agree with it.)

My chest still hurts from those restraints! Very painful on the final brake run
At least the restraints don't move down like X2. Because of how much you bounce around, the ride ops staple like crazy on that ride and if they push your butterfly vest down on your shoulders by the end of the ride you can't breathe.
First off, this ride is pretty huge media wise considering Good Morning America decided to show up.
Also, I have a music video with a ton of footage from today that should be uploaded by the end of the night.
My review:
Pick any seat on this ride and you will not be disappointed. This is coming from someone who is usually pretty picky about seating on coasters. For the first drop, I like the right side better. I thought the flipping over on the left side would be better, but hanging above the ground on the right side is a lot better experience. As for the rest of the ride, here's what I thought of each section of the train
Front Two Rows- Most intense ride on the train. You'll get the intensity of the back row along with being catapulted into the elements.
Middle Four Rows- Hangtime city. While the front row is being catapulted into the elements and the back row is being yanked out of them, you are getting a little bit of airtime in these rows.
Back Two Rows- You'll get pushed into your seat... a lot. Same as the front without being catapulted forward.
The pacing of this ride is much like BTR except even more chaotic. There is no breather between any of the elements. After the first drop, you will have a very poor sense of direction up until the tower fly-through. This thing keeps its foot on the gas until you hit the brakes.
Only two negatives about the ride. One being if you ride in the back on the right side, you will get a wall of water to the face and it will sting. I'm pretty sure that will be worked out in the future though. The other thing is that I am 6' 2" and I don't know if anyone else had this issue, but the vests were killing my collarbone after a few rides in. Not something casual the rider will have to deal with, but I might have bruises tomorrow.
All in all, Great America has a real winner with this ride and I have no doubt it'll be the new #1 coaster in the park (It's also made it into my Top 10 but no one cares about that )
People can't put their own harness down? Can they unlock the harnesses for each row such as Superman? Or is this like Deja Vu where they can't, and they just have to open up the whole train?
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"

Billy you summed it up pretty dang good! I got a total of 35 rides.. I had to drive home 69 miles and got home and CRASHED. I had a blast! This coaster is going to be the prize gem of the park. I managed to get 2 rides in on row 8 left and it was intense!! I mean forceful. I also got to meet alot of great people like CoasterDemon, Paul and Bond D ( sorry I didnt get to ride with you Bond). The ride is sooo much fun. It was basiscally an ERT session but wow, what a session. Raging Bull is still number 1 but X-Flight is right on it's heels, dang near a tie for #1.

Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
Ya know whats going to be funny? Not to be mean, but when the GP sit in row 8 left. They won't suspect a thing until the drop....lol.

My #1 at the park is still a toss between American Eagle (on a good day) or Whizzer. Then maybe Demon, Viper. I know, I'm the 1%
The highlight of the day was hanging out with my fellow coaster buddies, new and old.
I am weird too, I guess, because I love Viper and Eagle.
I love American Eagle and Viper too. Aw hell I have alot of #1's.

based on the Reverse POV video posted here, it seems like Capacity on X-Flight SUCKS. I wasn't there today, but seriously? On the video, they were sitting on the brake run for a good 5 mins. I hope the crew can get this together otherwise when the GP hits the park, we'll be looking at a good 3-4 hour line. 32 people every 5 mins. That is not good.

It was media day and many times there were camera setups, waiting for live shots. I got 32 rides, the ops imhop were very good. Cap will increase as the ops get more and more practice.

I am the king of 3 second videos. So I made my 3 second video a 16 second video. For whatever it's worth, not sure if this view will be available for much longer: https://www.facebook.com/video/video.ph ... 2069&saved

Not really, he was pretty quiet for the most part. You cant hear it, but I was talking to him about the ride and how long it took to build/design ect. It was very fun riding with him!
