Are they worth it? Is it easier, faster or the same having them processed at the park? It shows about $61 at my Jewel for a 2012 season pass. Thinking about that OR the 9 month payment plan.

Processing at the park is the same ether way, the 9 month payment is a lot more money one pass at $8.88 for 9 months is 79.92 + a $5 online Processing fee so it will cost $85
EDIT: Just went to six flags site and they don't offer the 9 months plan anymore now it's 6 months plan @ $12.99/month for a single pass = $77.94 + the online fee $5 that will be $83 Great America Visits

at the Jewel by me, all the window clings appear to be advertising the Summer Thrill Pass for $59 rather than Season Passes. There is a huge difference, with the Summer Thrill Pass, it's not good for Fright Fest, you are also unable to add on a parking pass and I believe you also can't get the dining pass, if any of that is of interest to you.
Also jewel only hands out vouchers, either way you have to process at the park. Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder

^Doh! I'm glad you mentioned that Mike. I had no clue - and I just texted a friend telling him that season passes were at Jewel for $59. Oops!
Man, SF are really desperate, doing anything to get people there, huh?
Jewel has been selling SFGAm tickets and passes for years; at least since 2005 and probably before that even. As everyone has already mentioned, you still have to process at the park since they only give you a voucher. You just get to skip the line at the front where you buy the tickets, same as if you bought something online. 
The Thrill pass has been that price for a while I believe. It was at least last year when a buddy purchased it.
is the thrill pass good for 3 people? I see in some google ads it says good for a family of 3. just wondering if that is true or if you have to buy one for each person. which then for me wouldn't make sense cause we only come once but its cheaper than buying 2 full price tickets. just curious.
Good question. I will go with my nephew and maybe sister in law so does anyone know when free or half price days begin?
