I thought this shot was neat as it shows how close the track is to the base of the hill. In addition it shows how close the ride is the American Eagle.

I love the skyline! !!!! If only Wolfe was here to see it .........OH WELL. And I just thought of something the support for the rest of the G roll is not up. Do you think that will hold back construction! !!!! I hope not!
FParker185 wrote:Do you use a Wide Angle lens? Or is that steel on Eagle really starting to sag?
I noticed that too. It is not a wide angle lens (24-105 zoom), so I think it might have some bend to it. Also on wide angle lenses usually the outer portion of the frame gets distorter where this bend is near center.
Yeah, it didn't look like wide angle, but figured I'd give Eagle/the park a sliver of credit. Voyage was off by less than an inch, so they bulldozed a large section of the turnaround and are in the process of rebuilding it.
Either way, great pics. I remember way back in the day following your Raging Bull construction updates religiously!

Yes, its a very bright ride! Its gonna POP really nice in the summer though!
I really like the further pics(skyline) ovr the closeups! The angle under bull is so weird cause it still looks like the zeroG is incomplete(cause it blends with the lift). Cant wait till the immelman pops up.
When that does happen btw, would you mind trying to get skyline shots?! That one on the highway was awesome to see the scale. Sorry I know youre doing this for us, & I TRULY do appreciate it.
I really wanna try to get into the rec park across 294, you know the buildings across SFGAm? Are we able to get in those parking lots? I dont see why not...
I would steer Clear of Watson Pharmaceuticals and the buildings on either side of it, even though both are likely still empty. Probably a little far north for X flight pics, though it's right across from SFGAm's highway sign. I've worked in that building recently, and security does not mess around under any circumstances. It's a federally regulated building. Just throwing that out there
I doubt any of the others really matter.

Like other have said there are a few that you can go into their parking lot. The last building I never had a problem with, but them again I just parked, and walked up to the tollway (obviously to the fence, but not over). There a was a guy out there last time when I parked, but by the time I walked to the fence he went back in.
I will do more skyline pictures.

Ugh, Rob thank you!! I look forward to them, I cannot believe how anxious I am for this ride. Then again, I can cause this park is a passion. I am GREATLY appreciating these updates & as crazy as this sounds or who makes fun of me for this, I cant say I care...
Again this is a passion of mine so I feel like I'm watching this park grow like a kid I care for or something & it makes me emotional... I just get so happy to watch our park develop & grow to become a better park.
When you grow up at a place that you call home more than home itself & even into adulthood, you still escape to this place, you do get attached. So I care for our park greatly & only want greatness to come of it. It bothers me when I cannot be there, & well no one but me wants to visit a closed park haha so a million times over, thank you!
DejaVu2001 wrote:^ It appears he exceeded his bandwidth on Photobucket. So no one should be seeing any pictures now until it is resolved.
I didn't realize that there was a limit when I joined the PhotoBucket as well as not knowing that it would be viewed so much. The problem is that when the forum pages load on each persons computer, it takes part of that bandwidth. I am looking for another photo sharing site or will need to wait till another 14 days till the month resets and then limit the amount of pictures to one a day. I am trying another way, so the shots should start appearing again. Sorry for this again as I did not know about this limit.
