Mid-Oct or Early Dec(depending on when D23 offers studio tours) - CA trip including Disneyland Resort, Six Flag Magic Mountain, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott's, Sea World San Diego and other random stops.
seems like we just had the last one, but yeah I guess it's been a year already!
tentatively planned.....
Holiwood Nights plus the follow up Beech Bend event
ACE Spring Con at Cedar Point, got no firm plans for this, but it's something I'd like to do, so I'll probably end up going
Kings Island at some point since I won free tickets at No Coaster Con
Wisconsin State Fair since the midway is going independent this year.
SFGAm of course at least a few times
that's about it domestically
After that I have a European Trip planned and mostly reserved now from Sept 19-Oct 8 to The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and Hungary, parks I plan to hit are... in no particular order...
Europa Park (2 days) The former Six Flags Holland (Walibi Holland I believe it is) Amsterdam 2 nights (it's not a park, but it's about as much fun as one if not moreso) Wallygator Park Parc Asterix Parc St-Paul Toverland Bobbejaanland Plopsaland De Panne Efteling Duinrell if time allows Phantasialand Holiday Park Tripsdrill Europa Park Fort Fun Hansa Park Heide Park Belantis Bayern Park Forellenhof Plohn (the other ElToro) Skyline Park Wiener Prater Vidam Park (Budapest, Hungary) The apline coaster at Meiders and another nearby one which happens to be the longest one in the world Oktoberfest in Munich Canstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart Septemberfoor in Hasselt, Belgium then I got a list of about 20-30 different fairs, will pick and choose, but probably make it to 7-10 of them
Some parks may be dropped, while others may be added, also this time around I'm going to make a way bigger effort to do some honest to goodness sightseeing in all the cities I'm staying in. Also this time I'm not going solo, got one other person going who's never been outside of the US and Canada, so it should be good times, however because of that this trip resembles the trip I did in 06 with some repeats, but I'm repeating the best parks, leaving out the less interesting ones, and I've added quite a few I've never been to before. While it's outdated, the last time I figured it out, the guy I'm going with will ride around 110 coasters and I'll pick up in the neighborhood of 60, which is pretty good for me at this point.
I think that's about it for my 2012. I'd say it's another productive year for me after 2011's trip to Scandinavia.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
I had a small 2011, so I'm hoping to have a big 2012.
April: Dollywood and SFOG, maybe BGT depending on what my group wants to do.
Late May/Early August: Hoping to make a trip to Canada's Wonderland to ride Levathian.
August: My family was planning a 2 1/2 week road trip out east last year and it didn't work out. We're most likely doing it this year though. Planning on hitting: SFGAdv, SFNE, Hershey, Kings Dominion and BGW. Possible trips to SFA and Dorney, I also want to hit Kings Island on the way home.
Additional trips to: Bay Beach, Mt. Olympus, maybe MOA.
Frequent trips to SFGAm, including opening day, Xtreme Pass ERTS, and closing day.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter
We are going to spread our wings a little this year since my son Draven is 54 inches.
I'm not going to list Six Flags Great America as it's a given we'll be there most every Saturday
June Six Flags St. Louis Cedar Point VIP Tour
August
I finagled a business trip to work with my teams so I'll be gone for a week driving, week and a half to:
Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags new England
September
Six Flags St. Louis
Stoked to finally ride Deja Vu this year (since the damn thing was broken all the time before - and I wasn't going regularly), as well as to check out some new parks. Also helps to have part of my team in Boston and Wilmington DE
Any other parks on the way to Jersey that isn't too far out of the way? Maybe Hershey Park?
Hershey Park at some point during the summer Kings Island opening day Cedar Point during various times throughout the Spring and Summer Six Flags St. Louis Six Flags Great Adventure - Running of the Bull in September Six Flags Great America Dorney Park Six Flags America Six Flags New England Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Hopefully I can make it to these parks....hopefully

Awesome. I've heard great things about RotB and I really want to make a trip sometime.

Im heading to SFGAm the weekend X-Flight opens and a bunch of other times during the year. This year my family looks to do a lot of traveling so im hoping to get to these parks:
Walt Disney World - Staying for an entire week in June Hersey Park SFStL Kings Dominion Cedar Point Michigan's Adventure MOA Holiday World Dollywood - Maybe on the way down to Florida Kings Island Silver Dollar City - A little out of my way but a great park
So look for some trip reports if these do in fact happen.
Don't fight the Bull, ride the Bull!
Best 2011 Moment: "I lost my phone on Raging Bull!" "WELL I LOST A SOCK!!!" Best 2012 Moment: "No good! DREAM ON!" Best 2013 Moment: "I came here for Auntie Anne's pretzels and coasters......in that order!"
My plans aren't that spectacular this year, but I have some fun trips planned.
Dollywood in March for the opening of Wild Eagle. Nickelodeon Universe or Mount Olympus in April, NU is getting that new TMNT ride. Six Flags Great America (obviously) from May - October. Bay Beach sometime this year, didn't have a chance to go last year.
I'm heading to England this summer, and plan on going to Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington, Drayton Manor, Legoland Windsor, and possibly a few other parks. Also chance of Heide Park in Germany.
And I know many of you despise TPR, but if they have any Bashes around the country that I might be interested in, then I might head to one. But they haven't announced any for later this year, so I have no idea what parks may be in store for the future.

Not sure when I'd be going, but this year could include SFGAm, SFSTl, SFA, Mt. O, Timber Falls, Little Amerricka, Bay Beach, Busch Gardens Europe, Kings Dominion, Nickelodeon Universe and Valleyfair. CW and SFOG have been thrown around too, but those might wait until 2013 or beyond.
