The Dippin Dots guy has declared bankruptcy. Let's hope this transition goes smoothly, as the Lemon Chill Guy has become more and more unreliable in recent years.

I don't think I've seen a chill cart inside sfgam in quite some time. I don't think they sell em anymore. Though I'm sure the frozen chips guy (dippin dots main competitor) has just as good a source of info :)

I miss Lemon Chills. I remember when I was like 4 we went to the park and I wanted to save my lemon chill cup. I actually had it till about 3 or 4 years ago until someone threw it out.

The ice-cream of the future... of the past. :(
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.

Looks like this 'futuristic' ice cream will become another victim of the coming global economic depression.

Let's hope this won't be the news: "Dippin' Dots will be on life support for a few weeks. Then pull the plug."

Sad, huh?

Either the "ice cream of the future" will become the ice cream of the past, or they are gonna raise their prices up dramatically to the point of it not being affordable.

After all, Borders, Circuit City, and Linens n' Things are a few examples of the franchises which died in the recession/depression. Let's hope for more good news as time goes on.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."

This is an outrage. I demand that Dippin-Dots get bailed out! It is simply too big to fail. If Dippin-Dots goes, what next? We need to avert this catastrophe lest Baskin-Robbins is next!

Noooooo I love Dippin Dots I'm just never at a mall I never shop at malls anymore, with the economy the way it is I am shopping at Walmart and Target places where I can get everything at one place. And I never but it at Six Flags it is just ridiculously expensive and I refuse to spend that much for those little beads. And they do sell it in stores they come under the name micro dots or something like that they are under good humor or something. I dont know i dont know that I trust the Lemon Chill guy or the Dippin Dots guy, I put all of my eggs into the Mango Italian Ice Vendor, He knows the score!!
