Fastest and Slowest Ride Dispatches

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

From my experiences

Fastest: Disney Parks

Slowest: Mt Olympus

From what i've heard

Fastest: Europa Park, Toyoko Disneyland

Slowest: Indiana Beach, SeaWorld Orlando

I heard Europa typically dispatches a train about ever 15-20 seconds. I know Euro- Mir and Eurosat have like 8-13 trains (can't remember exact #) so it might be smart to dispatch that quickly.

What about you????

I'm not going to lie. All things considering Deja Vu was one of the slowest I have encountered because of the employees going back and forth checking harnesses/ seatbelts. East River Crawler is pretty bad too. Maybe, it's not as bad as Deja Vu, but it's just the worker has to buckle all the empty cars, and it takes along time. Retractable seatbelts - Great America! Mr. Freeze is kind of slow because the track has to move into place plus some people can't find the belt that goes on the lapbar. I heard that in some UK parks, they are really, really slow. I don't remember the name, but it had to be one of the bigger ones out there. Slow dispatches also depends on the workers. You could have one group of workers send out a train in 50 seconds, but another group of workers, it takes 2 minutes to send them out. So, you have to factor the workers in the equation also.

For fastest, you are quite right about Disney, but it's because of Disney's trick. They make the people do the stuff for them which I'm NOT against at all, but it's so easy to tell people pick up your lap bar on Big Thunder, and it keeps the ride moving. For Tower of Terror, you buckle your own seatbelt, and they tell you to tug on your seatbelt to make sure it's locked. Sure, they might help one or two people if you are having trouble, but Disney's smart philosophy is DIY. For Dumbo, and the Teacups I never ride, but I'm thinking maybe those 2 rides are different because there would be walking around the structures for those rides.

You have good topics tribar.
