That was kind of a luck out, I have to laugh at all the nuts trying to stop in the queue and station to get on the last one. I was not one of those. Anyway, it wasnt REALLY the last ride. The employees got an hour to ride after the ride closed for the night, as it should be.
Terrible video, but there it is, a completely impromptu, fuzzy, barely visible memory for years from now.
I'm assuming other people got better videos. Actually, someone BETTER have gotten a better video than me Preferrably in HD with nice zooming effects and great audio
My buddy and I rode Iron Wolf the last hour of the day as well as a couple times earlier. It was nice to see people riding it again since it was leaving.
My best memory of yesterday will be us asking the cops why they were there thinking that they'd talk about people trying to take parts of the ride, or signage, and he told us quote unquote
"The park called us in to make sure there wasn't a fight with all of the roller coaster nerds slapping each other to get on the last ride". He also stated to expect "seeing people fight with lightsabers"
Clearly public relations was this guys strong suit
Yeah the removal of ANY ride is sad. At least we are getting something better. Something I always noticed with Wolf is almost everyone would either wanna ride in the front of in the back. Personally, I liked riding in the back. People from this site should ride it next year at it's new location. Id really like to hear what its like next year!
It has already started. Like any coaster relocation, the trains are removed first, then electronics. Both trains should be already be out of the area by now. There may even be actual deconstruction by the end of the week.

Definitely by the first week of fright fest most the of ride should be gone im guessing
Trains were supposed to come off the track today, they will most likely sit at SFGAm though while the rest of the ride comes down, then probably ship those to SFA last.

Pretentious much? And it looked like some people on the 2nd-to-last train never actually got off. If I was staff there I'd be a annoyed too.
On another note, I actually made it into that video. You can see me for about 1 second as I walk down the queue and behind the ride lockers.
Scratch that, I'm in there twice :S The first time, I'm in the 3rd car of the train that's shown right at the beginning. My brother's the guy on the end.
Iron Wolf is not even close to Deja Vu. Iron Wolf beat up so many people if you didn't ride it right. It's in people's worst ride lists. Now, sure Deja Vu wasn't everyone's favorites I'm sure, but some people really liked it compared to Iron Wolf. If you rank Iron Wolf in the top ten, you either haven't been on many coasters, or you are one of few that have ranked it there. Even if you look at the usernames, are there any people that have an Iron Wolf username? I know of a bunch that have something to do with Deja Vu username besides me.
After people rode Deja Vu, a lot of people were excited. After they rode Iron Wolf, they were aching in pain, and they would say what hurts them outloud.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"

I don't think I come off as pretentious. But you have your opinion. Can I ask what gives you that impression? I'm interested to know.
