Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^I hope not because then the vampires might not be there during frightfest, unless the deconstruction doesn't extend into the park and only stays withing the boundaries of IW's lot. THey can probably just re-locate the vamps to a difft part of the park.

What time can you no longer enter the park? Because I might get there at 6.

I would hope the park won't close off that entire section for deconstruction purposes this fall considering there's no alternative route other than stopping and turning around to walk the opposite direction just to get to the back.

Any time the park is open. I've gotten there once 10 minutes before close to ride Whizzer.

I'll be there in probably about 2 hours. Wasn't sure if I'd make the trip since I was there yesterday, but what the heck.

Brad's little event was nice. I got dominated in the trivia thing :). It was nice to meet some of you and get on Wolfie a few more times.

Nice to see everyone tonight... hope someone brought Excedrin for the Iron Wolf crew.

I'm told they will start stripping electrical workings tomorrow after the trains are removed.

Nice meeting a few of you out there. Thanks Brad for setting this up. I was also unaware of how difficult ACE'rs are to deal with. I think that little charade they pulled is against their code of conduct since they were disobeying park staff.

I really enjoyed the trivia! It was nice with the small group and not mass chaos. I'm quite happy with my Six Flags map bundle. Thanks Brad!

What did they do? I missed the entrance-closing because I was either in line already or on the ride. My brother and I just re-rode 5 times for the last 40 minutes. I probably saw a lot of you guys around, but I mostly ignored everyone except a couple people standing next to me.

Everyone, but especially them, were being difficult in terms of trying to get the last train. Seemed to really be irritating the park staff.

If you thought that act was bad at the end of the night, think of how it would have been if people actually liked the ride!

Imagine Eagle's last day. The queue is such a mess they'd have a terrible time controlling people.

It was pretty funny, the ride ops didnt care what so ever that they were ACE.

yeah, the Park and the Gurnee cops are a little "uncaring" when it comes to the enthusiasts. But they also had a n event that they needed to get ready for and clear people out by 8, so they probably wanted people on the ride, and then leave.

I thought I liked rollercoasters, but apparently not like the enthusiast crew, so... ;)

How long did people stay in that area after the park closed?

If i was the ride Operator I would said: "Attention please! We will have a few more last rides and I will not announce the last one. If you don't get on within these next last rides then we will NOT let you get on. Security will enforce this and Gurnee Police will have to escort you out of the park if you become rowdy or uncooperative."

If I was Gurnee police or park security I would of forced people to get on and if they didn;t I would of detained or kicked them out of the park. Jeebus people its just a coaster. Whos gonna know you got the last ride?? Just you of course. Its really not something to brag about. Id be embarrassed honestly.

Plus, it wouldn't even be the last ride, because Six Flags had an employee dealie for an hour.

And then the folks in Maryland will ride it. ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed the trivia. It was cool to meet a few members and I also won a GCI pamphlet.

I was also super lucky in being able to be on the last GP train front row.

I'll miss wolfie though
first GP rider of the season: Batman the Ride (2011)
first GP rider of the season: Iron Wolf (2011) (almost a solo ride)
last GP train of iron wolf's existence at GAM (front row)
last GP person off Wolf's station
