I personally am very pleased with the parks decsion seeing that i thought we wouldnt be getting anything, but the word i've been hearing around the coaster community is that these things are crap.
I've talked to a couple people from england that have ridden one of these things and the say that mauher shone (sp?) would have been alot better. My guess is that it was probably to expensive.\
It just seems like this is a "cheap" addition to a "high class" sf park
It is a cheap addition and a Maurer Söhne would have been alot better, I rode the one at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and its a great ride, this one looks really short, but hey its a coaster, and the cars spin so its ok.
EDIT: Heres a picture of the Maurer Sohne one from Kentucky Kingdom...
I've heard from people who's opinions have proven to be worth listening to that the Reverchon mice are great fun, even if they're not the most thrilling thing ever... and since I never get thrilled from any rides at the park anymore, I think another Fun ride will work wonderfully...
I'm excited about riding it. I think it will be a great addition to the park. Sure, not as fun as Deja Vu or anything, but I know I'm still going to enjoy it. I don't really think it's cheap.

Who cares what the cars look like? I rode the wild mouse in Animal Kingdom in Orlando and it was great. You don't expect the G forces to throw you back in your seat when going around thoes hairpins. It's even better as they take you through a part of the ride without it spinning then mid-course they unlock the car and allow it to spin freely. Great fun! And the cars are pretty roomy and seated 4 teenagers w/ lots of extra room.

The minimum height requirement for Ragin' Cajun is going to be 48".
As shown here....
I have heard nothing but good from people who have road the Reverchon's Spinning mouses. Some enthusiass's just aren't happy with anything unless it's world record breaking. It's something the whole family can enjoy, not a Top Thrill Disaster.
What this? One week we're all so excited to see all these new additions/renovations and now we talk about how this "coaster" may not be any good?
It's not even built yet, so don't even begin to start forming opinions!
So it's a clone...I've rode plenty of cloned rides, each with a different feel. Just take B:TR. I've rode the one at Great America, the one in Georgia, and the one in St. Louis and I can tell you that all of them had a different experience to me.
Remember...this is more of a "Family" addition that many of has have complained about for the longest time.
I think CoasterDude has a point, some of us are beginning to believe that the coaster must shatter the record book to be thrilling.
It has to be a clone because all riverchon crazy mice are the same except the one at animal kingdom is 2 closes side by side with 3 extra cars on each track and a hidden transfer track.
