I cant wait to see what the height of it is. I know its not actually going to be the biggest ride since their opinion of Midwest is different. An example would be that they state Zeus is the fastest coaster in the Midwest when really Son of Beast is the fastest. The Midwest must be pretty small to them since GAm has coasters over 60mph. So I wonder what they think the Midwest is. If anyone cares heres a picture of what the Midwest is: http://www.costar.com/images/trends/midwest.gif
Ironically Cedar Point/PKI aren't considered midwest for Big Chief, so we're looking at a coaster over Bull's 210 feet. Whatever it is, it must fit their budget. I'm thinking Thrust Air.
Well like I said GAm has coasters over 60mph. Also there are many coasters taller than Zeus in the Midwest. I dont know how big this coaster will be.
The kids of the founder of the park are running it now since he died. Maybe his idea of Midwest is different than his kids. So maybe this could be the tallest coaster but I doubt it.
Awesome, I'm liking the sound of this. It'll be nice to have some more rides instead of the usual go-karts. They're fun, but not very thrilling. I'm just glad to hear that nothing's happening to Zeus (from what it sounds like).
It's a wooden coaster called Hades, from Gravity Group. I'm excited, we can expect something similar then to the other three. They are all CCI woodies and the engineers from CCI now work for Gravity Group. So, this should be a great ride.
Big chief has a poor definition of the "Mid West". Sounds like it will be a pretty good ride, but does big chief need another woodie? Also I don't think that park has enough attractions to have it Pay One Price.
Actually, they would have enough attractions for "pop". Remember, they have two locations, one is all go-kart tracks and the second one is with the coasters. Many people don't know about the 1st location, which is down the road from the one on Dells Parkway.
I wouldn't consider 10 go-kart tracks and 5 coasters to be entertaining enough for "POP". They really could use some flats rides, kiddie rides, and definately some theming/landscaping, and maybe a show? . If there really going for the theme park feel, why do they need 10 go-kart tracks still?
