8-8 PTR American Eagle Backwards "Opening"

Got to the park around 9:45 which is pretty early for me to get there, but I thought if I got there early I could ride American Eagle Backwards early.









Got to the park and I didn't realize they let people in early but held them up at the entrance to Southwest Territory or County Fair. Here is a picture of the imaginary rope drop people waited for...

So after they let us go we were the first one's in line for American Eagle, but the ride was closed. You'd think when you advertise the ride for going backwards opening today, they'd get it open on time?

While American Eagle was closed we took advantage of short lines on V2 and Batman. Today I realized back row on Batman is amazing, and V2 is a pretty good ride too. After a ride on V2 and 2 rides on Batman we went back to Eagle... which was still closed.

Also Iron Wolf was closed in the morning



Never rode Revolution because it kept breaking down and had a line all day.

Finally Red Side opened up on Eagle and we got a ride on it. Blue side was too long to even wait for it to open, so we decided to eat lunch.

After lunch we got a ride on Iron Wolf, and it was my last ride on it. After Iron Wolf we toughed out a long line and got on Eagle Backwards, which was amazing. It probably goes up in my top 5 coasters after riding it. After Eagle we went to Southwest Territory.





After waiting almost and hour for Raging Bull back row, after that we went to Chubasco (I hate tea cup rides) and then we then went on Viper which has awesome air time. At this point it started to rain so we headed around the park and tried to get as many rides as possible on open rides (which wasn't a lot). We ended up on Buccaneer Battle (Fun) and no one else was on it. Then we ended up Giant Drop was open so we got a ride on it when it was raining, which was pretty cool. After Giant Drop we went to check out Superman which was closed and had a really long line still, when we went to get a locker we saw this...

Since the rain was stopping we got on Batman, American eagle front and back, King Chaos and then finally to end the day we got to ride viper two more times.

Overall it was a pretty good day other than rides being down and it being crowded.

I won't even ask how. XD Anywho, I actually went on Friday the 5th and was quite pleasantly surprised to see Blue running backwards early. After a 30 minute wait, I rode front row at night, and it was AWESOME!

^Maybe, someone stuffed it in there. I don't know. With receipts, I thought people would take their receipts instead of them all piling up like that. So, I thought someone might have done that as a joke. Please people don't do that! I'm not suggesting anyone does that.

At first though, I thought that maybe someone put toliet paper in there in order for it to not get wet in there because it was raining. Yes, it's dumb thinking. I probably was putting too much thought into it because the caption for the picture was like look at this.

Yea, i think it was my phone was being weird so it took some bad photos.

Depending on how hot or humid it was that day, that could possibly be moisture in the lens. It could also happen if you have it in your pocket for a while and there's a crack somewhere near the lens.
