Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

With all the new additions and a re-theming for the 2004, you had to figure the prices would go up.

General admission : $41.99 (up $2 from last year)

Child and senior tickets remain the same: $29.99

Parking remains the same: $10.00

For such a good park $42 is completely understandable. It's worth and extra $2 for all the new stuff (if anyone here even buys tickets anyway).

Heck I got my season pass for $39.99 at SFKK this year. I guess it pays for itself in one trip. If parking goes up to twenty ,how much with the annual parking pass be?

$20 to park! If that's the case, I'd park across the street and walk in! That is a major rip-off and I think if they did it, they would hear from a lot of people. I doubt they would raise the price that much.

I remember when parking was like $5 back when Viper was introduced. Two years ago it was like $8, then $10, and now it might be $20?

I can understand that they need to raise prices for what they are doing this year, and nothing is really "cheap" at the park but nobody wants to pay that much to park.

If they do the preferred parking, what are they going to charge $25 maybe $30?

Did you guys see all the winking faces after he said that the parking was going to be raised to $20?? He was kidding! I don't think the park would ever raise parking to THAT much.

Good idea, since it can be used at any park and is cheaper.

Yeah it's a great deal and it's only about a 4hr drive from northwest Indiana. The best thing is you make a weekend trip in early April before SFGAM opens. Thunder Run makes the trip worth it and Greezed Lightning is SFGAM old TIdal Wave That was a trip down memory lane.

They should take out Batman and put back Tidal Wave!!!!!!!!!!

Go ahead, try it. I guarantee you will be shelling out $105.00 to get your car out of the tow yard.

No he won't. I've been parking across the street for years and have never been towed.

Doubtful.

If, for instance, you park across the street at a hotel, it is a heck of a walk, but it is also perfectly logical for a car to be in that lot for long stretches of time.

Not that I ever would -- just speaking in hypotheticals, of course.

Go ahead, keep kidding yourselves.

Sure, most of the time, no-one will notice you parking somewhere and then walking to the park.

However, I have seen cars get towed. They do watch.

It only takes one time for you to walk back from the park, and notice that your car is gone. You think it was stolen, call the police, and find out its sitting at the tow yard.

$105.00 poorer and you won't do it again. :)

I parked at a gas station for 2 hours while I was in the park, but I wouldn't ever park there all day. And most private lots can tow your car for no reason. Most have signs saying what company would tow you.

Quit being CHEAP and pay the $10.00. Just remember when you park across the street that is lost money for the park and it may take longer to get the floorless coaster from B&M in here. The ones that do this will be the first ones to complain that we aren't getting anything new.

I dont like the price change. I do have a season pass but they shouldnt have raised the price. PKI is 32.99 and come on CP is 43.95(I didnt include CP to make one of those CP is the absolute best park type of comment). I think the price should be somewhere around PKI's price. Im not complaining or anytyhing I just stated something I thought was reasonable.

Not paying $10.00 isnt being cheap. The park can deal without getting $10.00. The floorless coaster is a rumor so dont play it off as if its true. No one knows if the park will ad the floorless or not.

.

That $32.99 price at PKI is if you buy tickets online. The price at the gate is around $44.

SFGAm has online tickets for $31.99

Do your research.

Every penny counts and to think that your $10.00 will not hurt them your wrong. If everybody thought that way and parked at the hotels and the mall do you honestly think it won't make a difference? The floorless rumor only makes sence since we already have 4 out of 5 B&M style coasters. To say it's next, who's to tell but one can only hope.

Chitown loves price increases apparently? Really $2 isn't a big deal considering we recieved 4 flats and a new coaster. Also ive heard that Jewel is selling Season Passes for $89.99 for 2 or something?
