I usually have to go with either Roaring rapids or loggers run. Roaring rapids gets you soaked which i like and logger runs feels like you float when you hit the second hill. Whats your favorite water attraction there
Definitely Roaring Rapids. You get super soaked on that thing but my friends are too chicken to go on so I really have to convince them to go. They really should have better ways of storing your stuff on that ride instead of those open cubbies where everyone can take your stuff. They should have somone else handing out like tickets to matching cubbies where your ticket has a number to the cubbie that they put your stuff in. I like that process because at least your stuff is not gonna get stolen but the major issue at hand is the delay in getting on the ride. It would slow down the time to get on the ride and make lines longer unfortunately. If everyone were me, that would definitely not be a problem.
Honestly?? It WAS Splashwater Falls. That ride was incredible on a 90 degree day. A quick one minute ride got you nice and wet... ...thats what she said... and kept you refreshed for HOURS. Sucked if you wore actual shoes though. Or jeans. But I digress. I wish we could see an UPDATE in the future, but thats improbable.
And as for the RR storage...how about something like BB where your stuff is in a sealed box ON YOUR RAFT!? eliminates the need to staff one "extra" person to babysit your stuff. But again, that would be in a perfect world and lets be honest, common sense is becoming less and less common.
IOA, amongst some other parks I've seen, the area inside the center handrail of the raft that is kind of a cone shape is a waterproof, or at least water resistant storage area using a custom fit (soft) plastic compartment.
I always thought all raft rides should have the same setup seeing as it really can't be that expensive, and it is generally effective at keeping your stuff from getting soaked. But what do I know?

^I would be willing to bet that Six Flags doesn't want to spend the money and wants guests to spend the money on a locker. It doesn't excuse it from being stupid not to have them, but it's Six Flags we are talking about here.
I was always fond of the log ride. The smell of the funky water and banging around the corners just added to the fun. The anticipation of going up the hill, knowing in moments you were going to be drenched was fantastic.
I really enjoyed Buccaneer Battle the first year. I didn't ride it. My friend and I would man the water cannons on the spectator side. One would crank the handle and the other would aim. We'd get it going as fast as a water cutter and hose down hot girls and the MILF's until the headlights came on. We were holding our own wet t-shirt contest. We'd yell out pirate phrases while we did it, you know, to keep with the theme. That was a fun time. Last year, it seemed like the cannons were worn out. We barely got enough distance to hit the side of the boats.

I like that idea of storing your stuff in that middle compartment. Its really cool and very convenient. Again, Six Flags cheaps out and makes the customer waste money. What happened to helping the customer save money????
I don't think any business in history has helped the customer save money. Saving money is generally an illusion. For instance the much beloved and viewed as a great value, Holiday World every guest pays for parking, sunscreen and soda. It's all rolled into the price of admission. The soda alone added $4 and change to the price of a ticket according to the park. Also with parking rolled into the price of admission, if you have 4 people in one car, then they get money for parking 4 times for one vehicle

I personally, overall do not enjoy water rides. I do not like the feeling of bein wet in my clothes, at all. HOWEVER seein that you did not specify WHICH SIX FLAGS, I will go to say that I LOVED Six Flags America's "Penguin’s Blizzard River" & their "Skull Mountain" log flume. Both made me giggle the entire time & hardly dabbled water on me....I think it was the only two rides I truly enjoyed at that park...the park that needs to be the next SFKK or sold.
Hands down my favorite water ride at SFGAm is Roaring Rapids. When it comes to spending money at SFGAm for storage, I don't do it at all. I come to the park with only the few things I need, and nothing extra. If I have to spend money, I do so smartly.
Being the frightfest freak fanatic that I am, is there any chance the water will be dyed red at all for frightfest anymore??? It would be terribly sad if they never did that ever again.
With new management you never know, though it seems like that tradition is dead, I think ridership just isn't high enough on most days in October to make it worthwhile.

It'll never be red again. Blood River in Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras in New Orleans. New Orleans had Hurricane Katrina. People don't get over stuff, sensitivity is at a record level, and everyone is lookin for an easy lawsuit. It'll never, ever be done again.
Granted, I haven't visited New Orleans since Katrina, but that progression seems an awful stretch...from Blood River as a Fright Fest name for Roaring Rapids at the Six Flags in Chicago, to offending people in New Orleans. I'm not saying that's not why, it just seems a little silly to me. I thought it was just a cost-cutting measure.
As far as water rides go, I don't really care for them, but I suppose Loggers Run is my favorite, yet somehow I'm always dragged onto Roaring Rapids.
Without a doubt all of them but I Love Roarin Rapids (Last waterfall needs to fall over the boat) The double drop on Logger's and the ultimate soaking on bucaneer battle I can take or leave the clipper.
