"Live with Regis and Kelly" will be in Disney's California Adventure all this week. The show airs on Chicago's WGN(Channel 9) at 9am weekdays. Today(Monday), Howie Mandel is going to preview the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at DCA. As of 9:30 am, the preview hasn't been shown yet.
Here is a recap of the "preview." In the first segment, Howie Mandel went up to the hotel lobby, and through the library. At this point, the camera flickers and the first segment ends. In the second segment, Howie was on the actual ride(the camera was fixated on him throughout this segment). Howie described the ride, explaining what he saw from his viewpoint. During the drop sequence, the show displayed multi-view angles, one from outside the Tower, one on Howie, and another view. Howie stated that the ride is expected to open in May.
Im going to check on some disney fan websights to see if anyone videotaped that segment. I've been following up on tot for a long time now, and i know most of the new parts of the ride. Did he say anything specific about special affects, rooms, anything?
All I know so far is they showed the boiler room, library, lobby, and the whole drop sequence with the mirror room and haunted hallway.
I read that there is a secret room that no one knows about, and I wonder what it could be. On the park where the car goes down a corridor backwards, and they have rod serling narating, they should have not waisted thatspace and used it as a 5th demention room. It would make the ride way better and make the going backward feel more disorienting.

Or a time machine because there was a time machine in one of the episodes I sae, and it would be like your getting sucked back into 1939. Also, it wouldnt ruin the rest of the rooms used to replacethe 5th demention.
