Is anybody going on the 26th. I got the privilege of going and was wondering if any of you will be there. Trying to talk my dad into buying me a dslr for the event. Hoping to meet some of you.
In the future, I wouldnt mind seein more to the waterpark, I really love Hurricane Harbor, I personally think its the best water park due to not only its attractions but the themeing & cleanliness of the park. Its so well taken care of.
Now I know that SFGAm only has proslide, which makes me happy seein theyre the B&M of waterslides, but maybe they can even design a new water ride experience for us similar to the Stingray at Noahs ark or Halfpipe at SFAm. However the Rocket designs (water coasters) are amazing lookin, especially the newly popular Wildebeest at splashin Safari!

Yes, they are. See, currently, SFGAm has a large section fenced off in the parking lot for the use of construction & now the clean up process. THAT AREA is what I can see them expanding onto. Cause if its fine not bein used for parking now, even on the super busy days weve had, I can see it at one point in time, never bein used for parking ever again. Hurricane Harbor will one day be the premier water park. I personally think its the flagship of the chain already.
Yuck. That sounds awful... the area & the slides look good though. Im not really likin the tantrum(Wipeout)...it looks dull ride wise as I thought it would be more like two mini tornadoes but it compliments its area well with a neat color scheme.
The new slides are pretty sick. I went yesterday (6-6-11) and the wet and dry parks weren't crowded at all. I didn't ride Wipeout, and the drop slides are very very low capacity...With about 10 people in front of me in line I waited about 15 minutes. Fun though, except for the whole my back doesn't touch the slide for about 20 feet!! And the Activity pool is nothing what I thought its really awesome and goes up to 4 feet which is perfect for some regular swimming!! I can't imagine any of this stuff on a packed mid-July day, though. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this expansion.

I think it's inevitable at some point HH will get a water coaster, the technology is available and so many parks have them it's just a matter of time. The only reason they didn't get one as part of this expansion is because these slides were supposed to be going to SFKK (Bonzai Beach) and they already had one.

A water coaster, hmm? If it will fit, there's not much room left at SFGAm.
