New Mardi Gras Themed Area

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I think the yellow track/black supports would be cool... I also like the yellow rails/grey track/black supports idea. But yellow track with purple supports is ugly in my opinion. Either way I'd just rather have them keep it the way it is.

It doesn't look all bad...

Granted that's a total rushjob, and I left the other rail untouched for comparison...

I'm sorry, I just don't think this: http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1886.htm?Picture=4
looks good at all. But I think if they used a brighter yellow on the rails it would look better than the brownish yellowish looking rails at SFNO. I guess we'll just have to wait to see what SFGAm does. Whatever they do, i'm just happy that it is getting repainted and that we are getting a bunch of rides. :D

I personally like SFNO's Batman's color, I think that would look great on ours!

This is good because they are repaving the whole orleans place area. TYhe only thing I have against this is that they are getting ridd of the gam themeing (orleans place lok is really nice) ad the steel wirework in front of the park where you enter orleands. Also, no more ru le dodge or condor. Same with the icecrem parlor, and the show area. lol. Im still excited. Whats hppening to roaring rapids?

I'm speechless. This is great news. I for one am happy about Batman being repainted. Change is good.

Repainting Deja Vu to Stuntfall's colors would look awesome. I love the orange and blue look.

Man, how I wish we were getting a Giant Frisbee. Those look amazing. I'm being greedy.lol. This is more than enough to be satisfied with! :)

"As for the Batman paint job, to correct ClubXJeff, the entire track and rails will be yellow, while the supports will be a blueish-black."

lmao... so many conflicting reports... I don't think we'll know anything for sure until someone gets some pictures... regardless, I'm actually voting for Batman Blue Track/Supports with Yellow Rails. Those actually looked cool.

Wel, personally I could deal with it if we got our BTR painted like SFNO's. Now hang on a sec. I could deal with it but it dosent keep the Batman theme. As for everything else I'm most excited about the Coaster after hours thing. Thank the Lord I have a season pass :D

I like the SFNO's B:TR paint job. Not as much as the all black, but if it is going to have yellow in it, I would want it to look like that.

B:TR should be left alone. Since it is getting repainted I wouldnt really mind if the rails would get painted yellow. The spine shouldnt be yellow, that would just look bad.

Im wondering how good the Orleans Place revamp will look. I hope its not a generic SF type deal. I hope theyre taking their time in revamping it so it looks good.

Dave is on a roll today. :)

Have any of you seen the B:TR at SFOT. Here is a photo. It might end up looking like this.

http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery ... ?Picture=1

To some of you that have complained about the additions to the park (Aero?), why don't you just go find another hobby. Its ridiculous to whine and moan about this. We are probably going to be the SF park this year with the most additions and a re-vamp of an existing section.

This is great news.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Having seen the themeing of the other S:UF in Georgia, I would like more. I'm not complaing that there is no Metropolis area around it the whole queue is just plain, besides the signs which are at the other one too. Also, the one in Georgia had a cliff and rocks and a mini-tunnel to add to the ride experience.
