For me it's definitely SFMM. X2 and Terminator are an amazing duo: and they back that up with DejaVu, Riddler, Tatsu, BTR, Viper, and Goliath, all good coasters that would be major headliners at most any other park. Also Ninja and Scream are solid coasters, and it looks like they even made STE worth riding again.

As much as I love Maverick and TTD, CP's lineup doesn't impress me as much. I might slightly prefer MF over Goliath because of the steeper drop, and TTD is definitely better than SEFK, but i'll take BTR over Raptor, Ninja over Draggin' Iron, it's not really fair to compare Viper to Corkscrew, I prefer RRv a little bit over Mantis, Colossus isn't great but definitely better than Mean Streak, then left over we have Gemeni, Magnum, and Blue Streak vs Tatsu, Scream, DejaVu, and Terminator (SFMM comes out the big winner there, in my opinion), then the other major coasters left standing are X2 and Maverick. Both are great rides, but X2 is one of the most epic, and definitely the most bad a** coaster out there. Really the only bad coaster at SFMM is Revolution and thats just because of the trims/restraints. If CP were to replace Mean Streak with an awesome GCI like SFMM did with Psyclone, then we might have a debate again :).

I vote for SFMM for a similar reason. SFMM has quality and quantity, at least compared to CP. I don't necessarily care much at all for either park, but coaster wise I give the nod to MM. Also, SFGAdv would be a close second for me. Of course everyone's mileage may vary.

Not a choice listed, but Busch Gardens Tampa wins it for me. It's the one park where every coaster is great, no awful rides. The Six Flags/Cedar Fair parks have the "here are 2-3 awful coaster" issue.

SFMM all the way!!! Great Coaster Collection!!! Plus they got Vu :D

A couple of years ago, I definatly would have voted for CP over SFMM but SF has made huge improvments to the park over the years. Not just in coasters, but the overall guest experience when you visit the park. This park has definitly risen from the ruins over this past decade. I would say this park has made more improvemnets than any other park I've ever seen but thats just me.
Can't live without Coasters!!!

By quality you mean an over-rated collection of coasters okay then!

In my opinion, i'd say every ride with the exception of Kumba is average, with no awful coasters. I'm always in the minority when I say this, but i'd say Montu is even well below average for a B&M invert. Their collection may improve a lot with Cheetah Hunt but right now I don't see the big deal. Haven't done Gwazi with the new trains but will be soon, Sheikra is OK but not even close to top 10 material in my opinion, yes it has two nice almost-vertical drops but other than that the pacing on dive coasters is kind of a joke and just not my kind of thing. Montu is also OK but the second half blows a**, even with the rare minimal-trim ride it's not nearly as intense as BTR or even Raptor. Then you have Cheetah Chase which is blah, Scorpion is a fun classic little Schwarzkopf, but that's all it is.

Looking at my rankings, Montu is actually my least favorite B&M invert
1: Batman (been on: Great America, Great Adventure, LaRonde, St Louis, Magic Mountain)
2: Dueling Dragons Ice
3: Alpengiest (though Alpengiest gets some points added because I love the bizarro Swiss alps/skiing theming)
4: Dueling Dragons Fire
5: Raptor (Fire and Raptor are interchangable depending on the day, i've had some rides on Raptor that are awesome, depending on trims/weather/if the ride is running new polyurethane wheels and going super slow like a few rides i've had on Dragons)
6: Montu

I remember as a kid reading a book from when Montu was new with a headline saying: Pyramid power, the most twisted, intense creation ever to come from B&M. Being the big BTR fan that I am I got my hopes and expectations up for Montu and was pretty dissapointed.

But that's what this topic is for, to see everyones differences in opinions :)

^We defiantly disagree as I have Montu above the other 4 B&M Inverts. It has a pace I love and is one of the few non-Disney coasters where theme helps a ton. Batman seems like "lets throw all we know into a tiny space with no pacing" compared to Montu. With the new GCI trains, Gwazi has turned into a very nice wooden coaster, something many large parks are missing. I forgot about the artist formerly known as Cheetah Chase, but it get's a pass due to the weird brake program it has.

On Cedar Point, over-rated collection was dead on. I do not understand any of the love of M Force and found Top Thrill Dragster to be bleh after 2-3 rides. Too many of the coasters there are pure count filler these days (Gemini, Corkscrew, Wildcat) or awful coasters (Mean Streak, Disaster Transport, Iron Dragon.) For every Maverick or Raptor, there is an equality awful coaster.

Six Flags Over Georgia is an interesting pick. The parks great coasters all seem to be in the front left corner. They also have my favorite Arrow Mine Train, an enjoyable Superman:UF and a fun little kiddie coaster. The problem with this park is both wooden coasters are painful death machines and the Ninja needs to be turned into scrap metal.

Holiday World should not be on this list, plain and simple. Currently, their wooden coasters are good, slightly above average and downright painful. They are also home to one of the most painful kiddie coasters that is not a traveling model.

I agree HW should not be on the list but considering this is an enthusiast site I figured someone would vote for it :)

I'd say I'm probably one of the bigger HW fans around here, I have 3 of HW's coasters in my top 10, but sometimes you have to give quantity or at least variety of coaster types a nod :)

Magic Mountain gets the nod for me, can't wait to live nearish there in a week. Great Adventure has a few great coasters as well, but I found the majority of their coasters (like CP) pretty average.

I'd say that Busch Gardens Europe may have the best total lineup of coasters. I'd ride anything there (including BBW) over and over again.
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro
Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2
Coaster Count: 444

Magic Mt for me. Heading to the West Coast bash in 15 days to experience it again. Can't wait.

I would put Cedar Pt. as my second and GrAd as my third. Haven't been to Georgia yet.

I am in so much pain because my bruised ribs hurt bad from chuckling. All of Cedar Points coasters are cheap, gimmicky, and were added to be added. Look at all of the Arrows and Intamins that are in the park. While both of those companys built cutting edge rides, they were also pretty lackluster. All of SFMMs coasters look nice and the amount of work the park put into the rides really shows especially when it comes to the theme. Now you could argue that Dejavu, Scream, and Batman were also added just to be added but aold B&M looks nicer then a neglected Arrow.

I picked Six Flags Over Georgia.

Mindbender, Georgia Cyclone, a Batman clone, Scorcher, Goliath- pretty solid in my book. I'm also a fan of their Vekoma looper, Ninja, though I am in the minority for that. Easily my favorite Six Flags park. Too bad they shipped their Deja Vu off. Haven't been to Magic Mountain or King's Dominion, but I do know that Dominator is the closest B&M has gotten to Kumba-perfect since, well, Kumba. It's a shame they (SF) didn't "Chang" Knight Flight over to Gurnee before they gave up ownership of WoA.

I'd probably say Busch Tampa and Williamsburg are my 1 and 1a. Tampa has the wood, Williamsburg has the hyper. By 2012 they'll each have an Intamin launcher as well. Williamsburg has lost Drachen Fire and Big Bad Wolf over the years. If they hadn't, BGW would be in a league of it's own, Intamin launcher or not.

I'll admit, just this once, I also like Ninja at SFOG, in the back seat it provides a surprisingly smooth ride. Goliath and Mindbender I'd also consider to be "best in class".

The secondary rides of Georgia Scorcher and their Mine Train are quite underrated. Scorcher proves smaller stand-up coasters can be smooth and enjoyable. To me, their Mine Train is the only one I don't find to be boring and enjoy. Now if only they could tear down Georgia Cyclone and put a good woody up front.

^ I'm with you on Montu Monsterfan. Definitely the best invert I have been on. I felt like my legs were going to be severed from row 3 the last time I rode it! Love the speed, length, force, and theming.

I think I will have to work my way back there gradually. I really like row 1 best. It has the perfect intensity there for me. Hopefully more than 1 train is running next time I am down there.

SFMM wins for me. X2 and Terminator are my #2 steel and wood. Along with Tatsu, Ninja, and Revolution all being Top 20's. Besides Maverick, Millenium, and Raptor, almost everything else is crap.
BGT takes 2nd, especially now with Cheetah Hunt.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.

My vote also goes to SFMM. Great coasters and great AMOUNT of coasters. However, talking percentage wise, when I visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg I found it to be 100% great coasters. I'd vote for that if I could. Not only that, it's a beautiful park, where as SFMM is occasionally pretty.
