Something funny in Germany

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Was reading over some trip reports on TPR and couldnt help but notice something SFGAm related. The GCI coaster that opened last year at Freizeitpark Plohn in Germany is called "El Toro," no big deal as this could be a coincidence...until you see the sign.

They got some talent in that art department

...for those that don't get the joke

Looks like a few high schoolers tried to imitate the old Raging Bull sign for a homecoming float.

Wow, I knew about ElToro but never saw the sign for it, I didn't think RB's original sign could possibly be any gayer, but I have been proven wrong. I swear that one is wearing lipstick.

As corny as the old sign was I have no idea why they would take the time to remove it. I preferred it to the flat cardboard looking one that replaced it.

My guess is because of the TV special that was on the food network, it shows the ride with the sign in the foreground and the logo is easier to recognize and associate with the ride.

...or the sign department had some extra budget and nothing better to do with it. Either way wouldnt surprise me :).
