Giga. Calling it. The rumors are that its was scheduled to go to another park but plans were changed.... Maybe GAdv was getting a Giga for 2011 but Chang canceled that. Rumors call for it putting St. Louis back "on the map."

Its great to see a park, which is well in need of getting a new ride, getting what sounds like a promising new attraction! I just wish we were as lucky...

That would be hilarious, especially when all of SFGAdv's fanboys start complaining that they should have got that instead of Chang. However, I don't see SFStL getting a giga, even in the distant future.

Im going to say that SFSTL might be adding one of those Stratosoar rides that CF is adding to several of their parks in 2011.

I simply cannot see SF adding a Giga- anything to SFSTL or any park for that matter given a few things.

A. Six Flags financial situation
B. Six Flags seeing the problems other theme park chains have had with giga coasters
C. Six Flags St. Louis adding a major coaster like that to that small of a park would be, pretty whats the word im looking for here?...... stupid

If theres ANY park that deserves a giga-coaster in the SF chain, id say that'd be Great America, but then again Im also the person who thinks they deserve a new high capacity coaster anyway.

If this happens I'll willingly take all the crap you could possibly give me along with your, "I told you so's."

I'm whole heartedly convinced that Cedar Point will always be the only park with a hyper-giga-strata combo. It only worked because they came in that order. Even THINKING about SFGAdv trying to market a 300ft+ coaster with a 456ft one towering over the park already is just stupid, just like the idea.

Also, Six Flags hasn't touched Intamin since El Toro, which was built before that cable broke on Kingda Ka. I don't forsee that changing in the near future.

I see something wrong with a Stratosoar as well though. They just installed S:TOP four or five years ago, and I don't see a lot of people finding another giant, slightly less thrilling tower over the park appealing. But then again, when someone says a "towering" new ride, my ear tends to put some stress on "tower."

We shall see!

I actually think the star flyers are more thrilling then drop towers. I rode one that was 80 ft tall and it was pretty thrilling. I can't image what 300ft+ would be like.

I can't wait to here what it is. Im planning on visiting the park next year for the first time in 2 years. I have no doubts it will be a great additin to that park no matter what kind of ride it is. When someone says "towering" they have my immidiate attention.

It also says, "LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVELY" Launch. Exclusive. This must be a new type of ride.

Or maybe it's a new wave pool? lmfao

Exactly.

I will laugh if it turns out to be something like a new water slide.

Six Flags has been doing a lot of let down lately.

Rising steel costs means that the supports for this 984204ft. tall billboard will be wooden! YAY!
