I love that the new CEO is known for bringing a company so it could be bought by a larger company. Six Flags has also returned to the idea of CEO's should have never had any involvement in the theme park industry. This could be very interesting for the new few years.

^ That tells me, that Al Weber and others will probably have more influence in the park operations then the new CEO will. Also Anderson did turn around his previous company he was head of following its bankruptcy so this could be very good for Six Flags.

Crazy. I knew this guy when I worked at Siemens.

Six Flags is in good hands.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

You know, I'm going to give this guy a 100% chance. He better not mess around with the parks too much.

I just don't get why the company is so eager to NOT have a CEO that has experience in the industry. This guy should be CFO, and they should have somebody *better* than Weber with experience as CEO. In my opinion.

long term

Alright, I get that companies need to be prepared to be ahead, but what about the parks now? They'll just let them suffer?

I guess I'll just have to see where he takes the company.

Right now, he's doing good. Just stick to what is best for the company, and what get's guests in. Headline Attractions. Guests don't want to hear about how they can crank a wheel and squirt water at people. Guests want to hear about the biggest and baddest ride around.

Weber is handeling all the amusement park aspect while Reid-Anderson gets them out of bankruptcy. It will be just like it has been since May.
