Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Do they keep all the lights on the coasters and in the park on Durning off Season?

They do not keep the coaster lights on, but yet they do leave the red lights that warn planes and etc...

Why would they keep the lights on the coasters during the offseason? Seems like a waste of electricity to me.
As was stated above, the park is eerily dark when you drive past it at night.
They have to have the red flashing lights on permanantly. Its an FAA regulation.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I passed by the park they only lights that were on were The 2 chistmas trees ( The one on Sky Trek, and the really small one on American Eagle ) Then the other lights that were on were the lights that lit up the SFGAm highway sign. But other than that the park is pretty scary at night all you could see was a outline of a 208 foot lift hill ( Raging Bull ; )

Well on the eagle it would look really nice if they were on but what do I know.

Ya I gotta admit that would look pretty cool if they keep the lights on the coasters on, but it would cost them way too much money for power and that money they dont want/have to spend.
