I figured since conversation is a little low around here i would start a conversation on.... AE'S christmas tree! Is it there this year or was it just there last year due to the construction on eagle.

They have been putting that tree up there for quite some time now.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Ya they have been putting it up annually for a while now. I always found it comical seeing the tiny little tree on the tracks :D

I live about 10 minutes driving distance from the Krispy Kreme in Lake Zurich :D I've however never seen the lights they put on Sky Trek Tower I guess I've never looked closely enough.

Yeah the tree never made it out on the barrel at Eagle this year. Maybe the maintenance guys were busy with other things...............

I passed by SFGAm today, and the little tree is there. It has its little colored lights on it, and the lights are wrapped around the railing from the tree about 10 feet in each direction, like they are every year.

I drove past the park last night and it was freakishly dark. The only thing lite up was Sky Trek Tower's Christmas tree and Eagle's little tree. I could barely see the coasters in the distance.

I wonder if there's an outlet next to the tree, or if they have to run an extension cord all the way from the ground. :? Anyway, it's already past New Year's - This topic's kinda dead now. lol

I think it's cool how they do that with trees. I wish my park put some effort into some tradition like that.
