OMG! If you could refurb those, and sell them off. You could make some nice money! Congrats! How much if I may ask.

$860 for both, with 15% bidders premium and tax it will be around $530 a piece, I will rehab one and use it as furniture, I plan on getting rid of the seat dividers and making the interior more couch-like. The back wheels will end up higher than the front wheels to make it stadium seating in front of my basement TV. As for the lapbars, not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, I may rig up an electric system and have them be operational, or I may get rid of them if I think they'll be cumbersome. Other than that will probably repaint the car itself the same color but have a super glossy mirror like finish and will probably powdercoat the chassis grey or black. The other is being bought by a friend of mine who wishes not to be named quite yet who will do what he sees fit to the car (probably same thing as me)

just a heads up, it will be a long process even though there is not much work to be done really. I'm parking it at a friends house in IN and I gotta disassemble it piece by piece and transport it home in trips (with plenty of refurb work before reassembly)

when I'm done they probably can be operational, but I wouldn't count on it. Technically they should be just about operational now, they were taken off RWB in fine working order (at least as fine as a PTC trailered train can be)

Do you have any history on where they were from when they last ran to when sold? I'm always intrigued to hear about what happens to random coaster items.

They are from Raging Wolf Bobs from Geauga Lake, one of probably about 10 sets of trailered PTC's made, they were manufactured in 1988, they were removed from the ride in 2003 and for the most part seem to have sat outdoors a lot but still appear structurally solid, but far from good shape. Picked them up yesterday, with some work, they will look nice.

Is it just me or do they look worse in these pictures than they did in the auction ones?

the pics on the auction site were accurate, they were stacked against a wall, that second pic is the side that was against the wall and was not accessible for them to take pics, overall it was accurately represented in their pics, though some of the side panels have some rot, I will probably end up just replacing 100% of the wood on the train. Gotta get in some practice with my jigsaw first though. Normally I'd try and preserve the history of stuff, but they are god awful trains, that ran at a god awful park on a god awful ride, I have zero interest in their history, mainly just want a nice looking piece of furniture in my basement :)

Oh also they are from May of 1988, so there also really isn't much history to speak of.

Just an FYI, I post all my pics on Facebook, if you search them down I just updated them with some from a few weeks ago, as of today, both cars are basically down to the chassis.
