TRIP 3 - June 11, 2010 - WATER MARATHON!

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby david on June 11th, 2010, 3:39 pm
A few friends of mine decided to go out to Six Flags yesterday. The weather was mixed, but it seemed that lines were short. My friends create the next Six Flags ad gimick, "WHY SO STARBURST?!"

First, I finally recorded my records.

Raging Bull - 1 - Lines weren't good all day. Starburst ads on the queue "walls".

Wolfie - 4 - We got to re-ride row 2 at the beginning of the day. At the end of the day, I saw lines reaching the queue.

Dark Knight - 1 - No Line on a Wild Mouse, that is heavily themed, and is in a very busy area? somethings wrong.

Roaring Rapids - 12 - That's not a typo! We went on 12 times without getting off! AMAZING! We froze to our near deaths soon after.

Loggers Run - 2 - Why is Yankee Clipper still down?

Viper - 2 - I can easily say this is now on my best coasters list! HELL, maybe even #2! AMAZING RIDE! AIRTIME! I also noticed quite a lot of those metal beams on the ride, are those new?

Chubasco - 1 - Fun! We were spinning the fastest.

Demon - 1 - Last Ride! Clown Car...

Revolution - 1- Man, Revvy is in some pretty bad shape. Restraints are black, and ripped. Broke down twice in a row. Once while we were on it, and the other while in the queue.

Whirling - 1 - Nothing very special here.

I was there and all coaster lines were long except for Wolf (not suprised by this) Bull nearly both switchbacks full, alot of people there. Dipper was the usual long. Rapids was short cause around 4 it got cloudy and cold. Again alot of teens, cars and buses.

I absolutely despise the buses. Are the Physics Day things still going on?

If Roaring Rapids is drained daily, I imagine so are the other water rides.

Yeah it really was a horrible day to be there if you wanted to actually ride rides. I have never seen a weekday so busy. I guess it was because it was the lone day in awhile that has had a purely "Sunny" forecast with no chance of rain. Too bad it was barely sunny and got cloudy, ruined my plans of hitting the waterpark as well.

Not to mention they rented out the Value lot to Jeep or something which made the entire front lot filled. I wonder if they were charging the value price to everyone yesterday?

Either way, Thursday was a Flash pass day if I were with people willing to spend a little money, hour waits for close to everything. I guess i have to wait for a day with a heavy chance of rain to go again
