Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Not exactly coaster related but close enough..

Kiddieland's Steam Train delighted kids of all ages for 50 years at Chicagoland's last remaining amusement park. Did I miss something? What is Great America?
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

and SFGAm isn't exactly in Chicago, not that Kiddieland was, but it was a few blocks from Chicago, SFGAm is 40 miles.

It says Chicagoland. Gurnee is a part of Chicagoland.

Just pointed it out for fun. Nothing serious obviously.
Just checked the location for this place. You seriously going to drive that far for a train ride? Well, get some pics buddy.

I liked the other one better - deisel. Does anyone know where that went? Just curious even though I wouldn't make out of my way to go there.

Instead of doing a PTR for this, I figured it would just be easier to update this topic.
Below is a link to my facebook page, that has pictures from my trip to the Hesston Steam Museum from today.
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 9463ace5ce Got 2 rides on the Kiddieland Limited. Not sure if they will only run these on special events, or more often. Either way, its a fun place to visit to ride a piece of Chicago History.
