Tonight at 6 pm Chicago time, 7 o'clock eastern, Inside Walt Disney Studios will be on the Travel Channel. Its a brand new documentery on the planning and construction of the new Paris mgm studios. I'm eager to watch it and see how it is, and I thought I'de share that. Check your local listings for the channel number as I dont know everyones channels. All I know is that its on ch. 62 by me.

I just checked out the park's website, and the park looks completely different from its florida cousin.

Damn I missed it. It will be on again though.

I find it interesting that MGM denied the use of their name. I think its better being called Walt Disney Studios instead.

It was OK. The park looks really nice, but it looks like theres not much to do. They got a cool rockin roller coaster with lights and metal poles everywhere so its like the cocert rather than the limo ride to it. Theres an Armageddon ride similar to twister a usf. Backlot tour, stunt show, imagination and animagic stuff, I dont know. The park doesnt have the main streets either but I'de go if it was in ca or something.

I watched it... It looks like a really nice family park. Obviously you wouldn't want to go if you're just into thrills. Everything is very detailed in the park, and everthing including each souvenir stand ties into a story. It's really elaborate and clean looking. Some stuff looked a little boring, like the CineMagique. The Rockin' Roller Coaster did look really cool, with all the lighting special effects. Just so you know, it was only about Disney World Studios in Paris, there's also Disneyland Resort adjacent to it.

The park reminded me of dca. I'm thinking of the area that spans from the hollywood backlot to sorin' over california. I say that because it features big studio/ stagelike buidings that look like sourin' out in the middle of no where. It looks nice, but its not necissarilly like its mgm cousin with hollywood and sunset bulevards. I really liked it though it looks nice and new. I think the park will be better once they decide to add a tower of terror clone, and any other new disney rides that pop up or are proven exciting at other disney parks around the globe.

Maybe on a smaller scale, but Mission:SPACE is in extremely expensive ride. I doubt they would duplicate it.
