The 20% off of a 2011 season pass is a discount when you purchase 4 at the same time. So you either have to find 3 other friends or family to buy with, or you no discount.
The free parking pass is also probably not much of a deal for many of us since we all buy into the overpriced parking pass. I like how it says that if you have a parking pass already, the free parking pass will upgrade us to preferred parking. Maybe I am wrong, but with the season parking pass, I have always got preferred parking to begin with
That makes me wonder... are they limited us season parking pass holders to the value parking ...

No, read below.

It is Up to Four passes!

Yeah, when you have a season pass, all you have to do is go there. It's not like they are asking you to spend the whole day. So it should be pretty east to get all the benefits.

To me, for them (Great America) it's a smart idea. If the weather is crummy, those people will still come no matter what because they are paying for it. If the weather isn't that good for the regular people, than the park might lose money on that day.
For the parking pass, it says something about except for Chicago park, because they still get preferred parking if you get a season pass. I don't know where I read it, but I read it somewhere. Yeah, to me that's kind of pointless if you don't need season pass parking. To me, I think they should give a half off merchandise, or food instead.
My wondering about this event that lines were a half hour is whether or not other people some how got tickets. It just seems strange to be that crowded just for a private company. For Superman with 1 train I understand because it's kind of slow to me with 2 trains. However, for Raging Bull, or Whizzer a half hour. I can get on Whizzer in July for about a half hour.

So it is UP TO 4? That is better, I must have misread, but I assumed since they have bundled 4 in a package at a 20% off discount in the past I wouldn't have been surprised.
But yeah I suppose it is good for the park but I was surprised at the crowds also. Seems VERY crowded for a private event.
It was today also? Most people unaware of the Advocate Buy Out passing the park must have thought the park was already open. I wonder if anyone tried to get in from the gneral public. If I did not check these boards and say so many people drive through the gates I would check it out.
I have some more questions I forgot to ask about. For the Little Dipper area, to me from your pictures and news, it kind of looks like the whole Looney Tunes place is gutted. Do they take out all those rides? Maybe, the other rides aren't just in the picture, but that's kind of what it looks like to me.
My second question is what about Iron Wolf. Did it get Chang trains or no? My third question is are they blocking a row on every roller coaster now because of that stupid platinum thing?

Now, I haven't been so I do not know for sure but I can take a stab at some of these for you
1.) The whole area looks gutted
2.) There have been pictures of Iron Wolf's trains on Facebook from this spring and they are the same as they always have been. No Chang trains.
3.) I would like to think that the Platinum Flash Pass perk of being able to "re-ride" will not mean that the person can stay on the train for re-rides. I am guessing that you will have to go back around and get a free scan in without wait. Raging Bull for example, you would scan in, wait at the stairs, ride, get off the ride, get scanned in again without wait as your "re-ride", wait at the stairs again and ride again.
While it is a nice perk, the Gold flash pass would give an average of 5-10 minute wait for Raging Bull when I used it, so when I scanned it, waited at the stairs and rode...by the time I got off the ride I was already being buzzed to ride Bull again. I did this for 10 rides in a row.
The Platinum is said to cut the wait by 90%... Based on how fast the gold pass is, the platinum one must mean you will be waiting minutes at most.
Flash Pass will make your day go faster, but remember even with the Flash Pass you still have to wait through the long parts of certain lines such as V2.
Pepe Le Pew's Peak Net Climb and Petunia's Lady Bugz have been removed. Everything else is still there. Just not visble in the pictures. Bugs Bunny National Park won't open until Dipper is finished though since the entrance is torn up.

The platinum also allows your party to wait once, ride TWICE.

Did you see this implemented on Saturday by any chance? How are they going to prove that they have the platinum flash pass when the ride is over? Are the ride ops going to individually check each Q-bot or something? It just doesn't make sense.
There have been empty seats on Raging Bull and they never allow me to re-ride if there is a line...even with empty seats all over the place.
The only way this makes sense is that the people ride, and will just get a free pass through the Flash Pass entrance after they ride.

I have not seen it implemented. Though it is listed here:
Yeah, the way that it is worded really makes it sound like you will just get to be scanned into the Flash Pass entry at each ride a second time without a wait.
It doesn't seem conceivable that they will just allow you to stay on the ride. Anybody who has a Q-Bot will be able to wave it around. Unless they have special Q-bots for the Platinum, but that is highly doubtful.
It makes sense to offer a free scan in after you ride.... if it is really "90% shorter" of lines to begin with, it will only be a few minutes per ride...and by the time you enter the flash pass entrance, wait for a row, ride, and get off...you are going to be ready to scan in anyway.
Its a good marketing ploy to allow re-rides though. It just doesn't make sense to hold up a row everytime someone has a Platinum flash pass...would really slow things down.
