Wow that is pretty outdated... to answer the question... yes it as at SFGAm - it is just totally insignificant because it is from 2002. Aero, what do you have against the quick reply?

Well you see, It's a long story dating back to 1989. Michael Jackson, the quick reply, and myself were taking a zepplin (blimp) tour of Kroatia. Michael approached myself and the quick reply. I screamed but could not escape....

Hey y'all I know I'm posting 2 posts in a row but this one is different. Family Guy (the best cartoon) could be making a comeback with a possible 35 more episodes.http://www.usatoday.com/life/television ... uy_x.htmIf there is a god, the we will see the return of this show. It is by far the funniest stuff out there.

You're a phony! A great big phony!Sorry, not really. I just had to put in a quote from the episode I just saw. I saw that article earlier today. If they make new ones, it will be great. Everybody that I know that watched it when it originally aired loved it. But that was the problem, not many people could watch it. Fox didn't like it being so contoversial (thats right, Fox) so they murdered it by giving it a new time slot every week...My all time favorite part of Family Guy... "I didn't see that comming," the red shirt says when William Shatner is run over by Meg, after dancing barefoot in the rain with Peter.Close behind is when Death is incapacitated by Peter, and Stewie attempts to kill Lois. She just gets up and walks away like nothing happend after Stewie causes a hutch to fall on her going down the stairs, and grenades are thrown in it after it lands on her.

Hmm, I watched for 30 min. as they showed a Gulfstream Taxiing to the runway. Michael Jackson was on it. Charged for child molestation and out on $3 million bail.Hmm...Lets see if he is guilty. If he really is guilty then I hope they throw the book at him. Set an example to the other celebrities. They arn't above the law.

Wow...I forgot about this place for a few days (nothing personal).I'm just a little curious. But since this is an internet forum theres gotta be some geeks here. Anyone know anything about Linux? I just installed Fedora. Anyone else try it yet? I'm a bit of a Linux n00b so I don't know how it compares to other types....so far I like it. If anyone has any information that could help out a n00b that would be nice.

I gave Linux 3 chances. Each time it failed. It's not ready for the desktop, especially home desktop. Do you like gaming? Stay away from it, you'll be limited to Open GL games (unless you use a POS Wine variant,) and most likely, unless its one of a very short list of titles, you'll need WINE to run them, and even on high end systems, its choppy. If you want to use it for something like a home office, it could work. Most distros install themselves with Evolution, a great Outlook clone, and office software (OpenOffice.org is great, many distros include it. I use its Windows port.)Installing software on it is too cumbersome, and it is sh** for games. Quake 3 and UT2K3 apparently have Linux ports (unless its just the server, but I'm pretty sure they have the game itself ported,) but most any other game, kiss it goodbye, or endure its slow, and often unreliable gameplay. You can, however, dual boot with Windows so you can keep playing games. I don't do this because I hate dual booting, every time I want to play a game, I have to wait a minute or two longer for my computer to reboot into another OS.I suggest downloading Knoppix and running it off the CD. But, you said you already installed a distro, so oh well. Get Knoppix anyways. It's useful for troubleshooting your computer. When I first downloaded it, I was like "yeah, what will it do for me?" A few months later, my system hard drive crashed. Knoppix helped me figure out what was wrong with it. I ended up putting that drive in the trash (of course, 2 months after its out of extended warnatey...)In a nutshell, I'm recommending, unless you enjoy headaches, switch back to Windows, and download a Knoppix ISO. When you want to use Linux, just pop the CD in, and reboot. Even though you run it off a CD, you can still save settings you make. I forgot all the ways you can, but I made a file on a USB flash drive. If you ever decide to install Knoppix permanantly, there is a script you can run from the shell that will install it in 10-15 minutes that even a hick could understand. And, voila, a Debian based GUN/Linux system on your hard drive.

Yeah, Dave! I'm liking this V2 avatar. :shock:I've also heard my fair share of Michael Jackson jokes...most of them being too innapropriate for this forum...-What's the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag?-One is plastic and harmful to children, the other is used to carry groceries.-What does Michael Jackson consider a perfect 10?-Two 5 year olds-What do Michael Jackson and a Big Mac have in common?-They're both 44 year old meat between 10 year old buns! (LOL)-How did Michael Jackson get in trouble?-He was feeling a little RandyHere are a few..I think I might of put Do I Know You's MJ quote on here..

I saw Gothika last night. It was very creepy. It had a good plot, though. Did anyone else see it, or is anyone planning on seeing it?

My friend saw it and she really liked it. I have no intention of seeing it until it gets to our $.50 movie theater. I don't waste money in the theaters.

Is anyone planning on watching the MLS Cup game today. Its the Chicago Fire vs. San Jose Earthquakes(cheesiest name, ever!). The Fire have gone through somewhat of a Cinderella story. After budget cuts, and free agency they were'nt expected to do anything. Now if they win today they will be the first team ever to win all 3 cups in one season. The game is on ABC at 2:00 or 2:30 today.Edit. Damn, we lost

Ignore him, he is a white sox fan. The white sox will preform the same as they did the last few weeks of the season. Loose against division teams, win against teams who will clinch playoff spots. I see the cubs taking 6 of the 6 games from the white sox.
