When a girl takes off her top, even when not revealing it fully, and she is under 18, it means the girl is messed up and so are her hillbilly parents. She took tons of revealing, trashy and slutty pics of herself in 2008 that leaked everywhere.
Art photo??? At 16, and one of the biggest idols for teen girls to ever hit mega stardom on Disney (surpassing Hilary Duff, Raven, etc.), she knew what she was doing nobody forced her to take a picture she knew would be plastered everywhere and what kind of message she was sending. Maybe she was ready to say "I don't care anymore" or her inner slut was waiting to get out at that point. Whatever the case, no normal girl at 16 will do something like that without knowing IT WILL BE EVERYWHERE.

Tell me she's not hot.
She's not hot to me. The thing in general with people though is that there is someone for everyone. Some guy is going to say they really like Brittney Spears even today, but someone else will not like her at all, and think that Paris Hilton is hot. People like Jessica Simpson as a hot lady (And I don't how or why?), but I'm an Ashlee Simpson admirer even though she's not on my top 10.
Even if Miley Cyrus grew up and became instantly 23 today, I still would careless about her. It's her voice especially to me - not her "music voice", but her regular voice.

When Britney Spears (My baby), started going all sexy everyone complained, even though she was at least 3-4 years older than Miley is now. They said this and that about the former Mousketeer and Miley is admired by more people of the younger generation than Britney was because Britney was way past The Mickey Mouse Club when she went from Baby One More Time to Slave 4 U, Miley is still Hannah Montana and her music as well as anything she does is watched and heard mostly by preteen girls. They look up to her. They admire her life and when they see her topless or having sexy pics taken of her (when she clearly knows what is happening) it sends a very bad message.
Parenys have no control whatsoever as to who their child idolizes. I am not saying girls will go take trashy pictures of themselves just because some hillbilly girl from TV did but it just goes to show you how effed up the girl and her parents are since you do almost always end up seeing the pictures u take before they go out. Most girls are not stupid like Miley Cyrus but the mere thought that someone of her caliber can do something like that does make it easier for girls in the future to put themsleves in that place and think it is ok. Miley Cyrus is no sweet little teen girl (she dated a underwear model much older than her & is again shacking up with an older dude) and an even worse role model for girls than Paris or Lindsay.
I don't see Miley Cyrus at all in the same boat as Brittney Spears. You are saying she did one bad thing, but that's nothing. Brittney Spears had songs like Oops I did it again, and Hit me Baby one more time with a schoolgirl outfit on. Didn't she also have a song about a slave or something?
What is morality these days anyway, or what young kids won't do anymore?? You know they smoke when they are underage, in line for Deja Vu one of those times there were these 3 girls (under 18 even), and they were talking about secretly drinking liquor, and the swearing has gone just crazy in this world. The thing is that these younger girls think that dressing more adultish is going to get them more guys, and get more noticed, but sadly they might get the attention they don't want at all which is just sad. The world has just gone downhill so much; that you have a death at a Wal-Mart because people wanted to buy something 1 year ago.
To me especially, I think the swearing has gotten way too much in this world. Swearing to me means a lot more like hate words. Humans created a bunch of words that are just meant to hate others. The d and the s word aren't that hateful of words, but the b word, and the f word just never should have been invented. The s word in the right context could mean something bad.
You know who I think are the best role-models besides Jesus, Mary (I know some people don't believe) are actually fake superheros. Yes, I know they are fake, but think about it. You have good trying to go against evil, and good is trying to save the world. Other role-models could be the Police, Fire people, or doctors. To me, a baseball player or a football player I can't consider a good role model because to me they are just having fun. They are getting paid to have fun, and it's just not someone I look up to.

^Kids have been drinking underage, smoking and having babies under 18 for years. It has been more public in recent years and the media has to fill 24/7 news somehow. Plus, with the death at Wal-Mart is more humans = better chance for some weird death.
In the last 15 years or so, the baby boomers have realized life isn't sex, drugs and rock and roll. They had kids, bills to pay and realized death was a coming full speed with every year. So instead of being miserable themselves, they choose the blame everyone else. Kids were worse, sex was out of control and people were evil. Never mind the fact these same idiots were the ones thinking free love and drugs some 40 years ago. So the idea of "everything is awful now" came from their movement despite the fact they did the same exact things.
