There is a side to me that says that waitress seems really nice, and she's friendly because she wants to be, but than there is the other side which is that she doesn't care blasted one thing about me, and all she wants is my money, and the only way to get my money is to be nice to me.
Sometimes, I think that the most sincere nice people might be working at Kmart, Dominick's, Jewel, or Kohl's. Why? It's because they don't have to be nice to me at all. They are not getting paid commission or tip to be nice. The car dealer though is trying to get on my good side to get me to buy his car on the lot.
I'm starting to really hate the fake "Thanks for coming", or the waving at Great America when on the train from the Roaring Rapids people. They are forced to say that, and do that. It doesn't seem like they really care that you are there keeping the place in business (the "Thanks for Coming Thing").
Are we in a world that unless someone has money or gifts, we don't care about other people? When traveling down a street, there was a car zooming fast, and there was a guy crossing a street. That stupid guy could have killed him. Did he really care?? Nope.
