Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^Galvan just said that Great America did it and they are part of six flags.

So you just kinda proved yourself wrong there.

And CGA's water park was microscopic the first season, and is still small. Our Hurricane Harbor was done in one offseason, but it replaced a parking lot, and Skull Island, the main attraction opened 2 weeks late.

So i just had to express this because i thought about it all day at work.

awhile back on topic, someone here said it would be cool if we had S:UF & Bizarro on each side of the entrance and I have to say i agree.

Now if anyone on here has been on either bizarros or both, which i have, then youll notice throughout the que, entrances, and stations, there are many indications over Bizarros jealousy over superman. I guess id call it that. Both say "ME/BIZARRO YOUR HERO NOW." SFNEs says "ME AM NO.1 NOW." Now seeing there are many superman & batmans out there with different tags after the superhero(Ultimate flight, escape, knight flight, etc), I think they could carry this "jealousy" theme and call ours Bizarro: Tantrum.

On both bizarros you zoom around & through buildings. you can make the ride area look very destructed being hes aggravated.

is this idea lame or is it ok? I feel so stupid now

Very cool idea, but what if they don't go with bizzaro? Maybe an Americana theme? So many possibilities!

EDIT:

What about keeping Bizzaro, with the whole "war" theme, and making it a lay back? That would be crazy!

Was out in Gurnee today, and had the camera with me. As you can see, the Space Shuttle has now been removed.

Can't tell if the whole building is gone yet, but the shuttle itself is no longer there.

Thanks for the update. Looks like atleast part of the building is gone, but I do see a small part of it in front of Viper, those two yellow posts sticking up.

EDIT: Upon further review of the photo, and old photos, the majority of the building must be gone to see those two yellow posts and wall from that angle.

I agree. This is what I was told by someone in management @ the park ( a friend ) That the location of SSA and the Go Carts area was for a future HH expansion that would not be fully complete until 2011, I was told this around the end of August. This person did also say that sometimes they don't even know whats going on until track comes in, and said that SF upper management has the final call.

I was told that their are a few locations that are or were being looked into one was the SSA area, and another was SWF Demon area. I do know that the manager of the park was not thrilled with the Demon area because that's his baby. That's why the trains look the way they are.

I guess we will never Blast Off for another Summer of Thrills again. It was a universe of excitement and was just the beginning of a fantastic day of thrills and excitement at Six Flags. I remember it rocketing me out of the earth's atmosphere on an action-packed lunar mission set in the 21'st century...experiencing steep ascents, unexpected dices, meteor attacks and the unbelievable sensation of lunar "warp speed" Travel as it dazzled my senses and imagination.

Hopefully the ride got ready for a space ride adventure (to the junkyard).

(yes, yes I am looking though my old brochures) :)

I heard someone bought it. I don't think it was sent out to a junkyard.
