After going to CP 2 months ago, I have been dieing to go SFGAm for a while. So I went on the 23nd of October. The Park was half dead and most of the rides had no lines. Back in 2007, It was kind of crowded and lines were very long and the only ride I rode on was Viper. In 2008, the crowds were very similar to the summer crowds and I got to ride more rides. I left the house around 4:10 and Rob (A friend of mine) took me SFGAm. I was support to be at GA around 6:00 but the traffic took us down and I arrived at the park around 7:00. The weather was cold and the it rain a little bit. I never saw Jon or his Fiero so I'm guessing that he did not want to go to GA because of the weather. Also, I brought my new Canon with me and the pictures I took were very awesome.

I can't bevieve that SFGAm is still claiming that they are still the cleanest park in the world. I knew that the park would not get the golden ticket or anything. It's not even a joke at all. Why the heck are still doing this?

I remembered going to a CP store that sold CP Merchandise. When I was in the store, I saw a shirt that was very similar to this shirt but it said "Cedar Point". I could not believe my eyes that I saw a shirt like that at CP.


They even sold BB shirts.

This is my last visit to SFGAm for the season until 2010. I had really fun this season. I still love the 2007 season. I'm really looking froward into the 2010 season!

Nice report. I was there as well, it was nice and dead and the misty/drizzle rain really did add to the Fright Fest theme.

I also would like to know the reason behind the stock footage on the monitors in the Bat Cave. I have always thought that was so utterly lame. I get all pumped up for the ride and then that roller coaster tycoon model of that ride comes on and it looks like a cheap advertisement.

I enjoyed how they finally fixed those lights at the very start of the ride on Demon, I remember only a few of them working earlier in the year. Same with the tunnel being on, i love that.

Maybe, that's why the tower looks so bad. in my opinion, it's because the red on top is too bright, and it doesn't look right with dark blue. However, look at the letters on that cabin. Doesn't that look more maoroonish to you? That would make more sense on top, and it wouldn't look so hideous to me.

To me though a darker blue tower at night shows less of it without adding even more lights than they have already on it compared to white. Why didn't they use Deja Vu blue instead of dark blue?

For the clock, they are supposed to dispatch the trains in a certain amount of time (clock), or the supervisor tells them to go faster.

I will agree about the Funnel Cakes. They are pretty damn good. Even if the park says that their funnel cakes are the "best in the world." They are not the best funnel cakes, but they are one of my favorite funnel cakes. I like fudge, ice cream, whipped cream, and a cherry on the top on my funnel cake.

Man as much as I love that smell when I think of all the crap they put in those (preservatives & artificial ingredients) it makes my stomach turn, though I do enjoy the smell.

exactly why i dont eat them. next time you go to the park ask to look at the ingridient listings..... you wont want to eat anymore
