Why waste the money on Tejada? Pitching win championships and the White Sox need pitching. The Sox already have power hitters in Ordonez, Thomas, Lee and Konerko. Why spend the money on Tejada? Here are some stats for you:Gonzalez - 122 H, 35 2B, 1 3B, 22 HR, 91 RBI, 63 BB, .228 Avg. (.178 Avg. in second half.)Valentin - 119 H, 26 2B, 2 3B, 28 HR, 74 RBI, 54 BB, .273 Avg.Both of these guys had an average year. Their stats are about the same. The Shortstop free agent pool is very weak this year and I do not mind having Jose back. He is a team leader and you can tell he is having fun playing the game. If you want to talk about errors go back and look at the BIG error Gonzalez made against the Marlins.Throwing this in for fun:Sosa-144 H, 22 2B, 0 3B, 40 HR, 103 RBI, 62 BB, 143 SO, 0 SB, .279 Avg.BIG EgoOrdonez-192 H, 46 2B, 3 3B, 29 HR, 99 RBI, 57 BB, 73 SO, 9 SB, .317 AvgSmall EgoOrdonez is the best Right Fielder in Chicago.

First of all Jose batted .237 not .273. Secondly, I'd definitly rather have Tejadia or even Gonzo on my team over Jose. Face it he's horrible. At least you can trust Gonzo to make a play(1 play doesn't matter, Jose messes up every other play). Also, Gonzo is clutch, theres no denying that he is and theres not saying that Jose is. Also, Gonzo is better then Jose in every major category except Jose has 1 more triple, 6 more home runs and a slightly higher batting average. If you would rather have Jose on your team then you seriously have some problems.

Start hoarding your old nickels a new one is hitting town!http://money.cnn.com/2003/11/06/news/economy/nickel/index.htm?CNN=yesLooks like we get 2 years of new nickles and then back to the old ones. We're really changing up the money. What is the quarter going back to after the 50 state thing? And what the heck are nickles made of? Zinc?

The .273 was a typo and my fault. Anyways you dont realize what I am saying. I want pitching not Tejada. If I could have both I would. Do you understand that most teams work with a budget when it comes to free agency. If they didnt pick up his option he would have been a free agent and recieved the 5 million from a number of clubs because the free agent shortstops suck this year. (except Tejada). Valentin and Gonzalez are the same player. Gonzalez has a little bit better stats, but there are other things in baseball that count. Jose is a team leader and motivator. The other players on the Sox from what they have been quoted love the guy. As a fan you can't just say I want Tejada and not realize the problems that come with that type of signing when you are dealing with a budget. Prime example is Texas. They signed A-Rod and they will never win anything because of pitching. Did you even watch the Sox this year? Jose made 20 errors in 162 games. Do the math - he does not mess up on every other play. If this is what you are fighting with you really don't know baseball

No trust me I know baseball. And I have watahced alot of Sox games and have been to quite a few this year. My whole point is that Jose sucks and is not worth the $5 million that he is going to get paied next year also, 20 errors in 162 games is pretty, and it was a team high 20 errors and he only played in 143 games not 162.

You can't say a Major League Baseball Player Sucks. He is in the majors for a reason. As I have stated he isnt worth the 5 million but thats what happens when free agency is weak. Also if you actually watched the games not even 50% of his errors hurt the sox. When the game is on the line he makes the plays. He always makes errors when the Sox are either winning big or losing big. As a loyal and dedicated Sox fan I am telling you that I do not mind having Jose Valentin back. He is better than Royce Clayton, Mike Caruso, Benji Gil ,and Ozzie Guillen on any day of the week and I like him. I knowledgeable baseball fan never makes a comment like "The Sox suck" It is a brainless comment that morons use. To say any team sucks is out of line except if you are talking about about the 62 Mets or the 2003 Tigers.

Don't go and see Revolutions. It's pointless to, nothing happens. Go buy the Reloaded DVD instead, you'll be able to watch an equally pointless, but better music and action sequence movie.

I heard Revolutions was horrible. Reloaded was nothing but a hug special effect. No story line what so ever - Talk about a huge bust.

It wasn't exactly bad. Its just that in no way was it good. Nothing important happend, nothing said mattered, and, the strong points of Reloaded, the music and the action sequences, really lacked in Revolutions. Go see Kill Bill instead, I heard it's really good.

Kill Bill was a good movie Travis, but it wasn't Terantino's best film. That honor still goes to Pulp Fiction in my opinion. And oh yeah, Terminator 3 comes out on DVD this Tuesday.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Pulp Fiction was good, but my fav is still Reservoir Dogs. True Romance was also good, but Tarantino only wrote it not directed it.

Towards the end of the season did any of you hear about Jim Wintrode retireing(sp?)? Well it happened. The new General Manager is Tim Black. My friends called Hue Eichelberger at corporate and he told them about him. Tim Black likes Arrow coasters! Hopefully we will see more of those instead of B&Ms. I bet John Curty isnt going to like this new guy.

SfGAmFreak4life....this is the General Topic which was made to talk about stuff OTHER then the Amusement park industry. To talk about it in here, makes the General Topic sort of pointless.

Does anyone here play DDR? I don't. I think its the most heinous thing that could happen to the acronym DDR. I played it once. It sucks. I'd rather go and run like a normal person to get a workout, or dance with a woman than with plastic squares.I think the whole DDR thing is a case of Americans trying to be like the Japanese. But the funny thing is, the Japanese always try to be like Americans. Go figure.

Socom 2 is a great game. I don't have the online feature yet, but I will soon. The game I can't wait for is Mario Kart Double Dash. It comes out the 17th and is long overdue. It should be the first gamecube game to have internet play.

My friend's little brother, who is about 10, is really good at DDR. He goes fast as hell to those arrows, and whenever he plays it, there's always a crowd of people who start watching him. It's funny. I actually think that the game pretty stupid.
