We arrived just in time for the 3:00 parade. It was great.
They asked the person in front of me to dance, he said no, so I got in and shook it.

We got there at night and it was beautiful with all the nights on.
We got there in the middle of the night time parade. The music and firework show was great with all the Disney music.
Ended the day with some great sundae!
Seems like you did nearly the same thing I did when I was there about 2 weeks ago, every park in 2 days, except I didn't do the Boardwalk. Also, what kinds of discounts did your friend get for military? It was very expensive for me, $221 for the 2 days with park hopper. If you want to see my trip report, it's a few threads below this one (currently) and WDW is in the middle since I hit most of the big parks in Orlando.
