Got to the park at 10:30 thanks to us leaving the bus station a half hour late. Once getting up there, there was already a lot of people at the gates. So I walked in and got my pass and headed straight for Whizzer. Whizzer's line looked to be about 45 minutes. Next was Bull yellow train front row, I didn't look at what the wait time for Bull was but I'm gonna guess 45 minutes to an hour maybe more. I went and sat by Columbia for a bit and happened to look up and saw that STT was stuck close to the bottom of the pole. It was stuck for a good 20 minutes, that's the first time I've seen it stuck. So after Bull was Dark Knight, I rode that 5 times today because the preshow was broken and they just kept moving the line through and each time I went there was no one in the station. Next was watched day parade and went to take a late lunch before going to see Show Stoppin again and then it was around 5:30 and I went on Superman, I think that line was about 45 to an hour as well, didn't look at the time thing out front. After Superman, I went over by Columbia to take a break and the Justice League were out, and while I was standing there, there was this creepy kid that for some random reason was either taking a picture or video taping me, it was very very strange. I had to walk to the store right there by Speedway to get away from him.
Didn't make it to V2 or Batman today or Eagle but I did manage to get on Viper and Whizzer a few times throughout the day along with 2 rides on Demon, looked at Demon's line which was about 45 minutes as well. I took a break of rides before heading for night parade. I talked to a few people and they said the concert was amazing, I was going to go but didn't get to the park till 10:30 and I figured the wristbands would be gone so it was ok. All and all it was very very crowded, midways filled with people. Once the concert started, it still seemed packed to me, I would have thought that they all would have gone to the concert. Waterpark was filled to capacity all day, It probably was a mistake to go but I am going out of town next week till August 10th. Oh and the misters weren't working on TDK but the van with the clowns at the end was working. Next trip won't be till August 15th or 16th depending on which days I work.
I wasn't there that day, but when they say the waterpark is nearing capacity another day previous this year, I checked the attendance numbers around the time they said that, and it said about 3300 people were in there. That was a complete joke that is almost filled to capacity. Capacity is SUPPOSED to be 7100! I think they do that so people say hey let's not wait to go in the waterpark, and let's go in there now because what happens if they close it on us. Six Flags wants people to go in there because they get at least the money from the lockers.
There is a box on the way out before you exit the waterpark that says the number of entrances, exits, and so on. It's counting the turnstyles.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Packed indeed. I heard some people say the concert sux and it wasnt worth watching you gotta be a fan of the group i guess to enjoy it we walked out cause it was 2 loud and we dont know what songs their singing. One car at GD not working. When its busy go for the flats all coasters in the park had huge lines and yes HH was full lines where crazy for the slides. But Glad you had fun hope you have more fun on youre next trip.
